Perfect winter jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great fit, great quality. Perfect jacket for skiing, working or style.

Again, the zipper
I had a great Columbia ski jacket for almost a decade, then I got a Last Tracks I had to return because the zipper split open on day 1. Then I bought this one and it had been great for a couple months until this past week when the zipper split open from the bottom. Columbia needs to source better quality zipper apparently.

Not as pictured
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this in black with the grey and blue fleece liner. It came with a bright red and black plaid fleece liner. I don't think my husband would wear the liner on it's own because of that. I really dislike we were shipped something other than pictured, especially at this price. If it wasn't for that, I would give it 5 stars as it is a nice jacket and fits my husband great.

My first Columbia Jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As others have mentioned, the fleece sleeves are longer than those of the jacket, which seems a bit odd. The fleece material is a little thin, it's still good enough for my needs. The quality of the jacket is good, the size fits well, and it is very comfortable. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase.

Not the Columbia it used to be.
I recently received this jacket as a gift, Columbia Bugaboo 3-1 as a replacement for another 3-1 jacket I had for many years. I have owned quite a few Columbia jackets spanning over many years now. Unfortunately, I have noticed as the years progress, the quality of Columbia items has seriously become worse, cheep quality. Very cheep fleece liner that you can not even slide your arms in and out of, extremely difficult to slide this jacket on and off, and be very careful when you pull your arms out if it, you will get a huge static charge and shock when doing so every time! They should have lined the sleeves with nylon. The sleeves as many reviews have indicated and are correct, are a few inches longer than the jacket sleeves, so they hang out a few inches longer then the jackets. Overall poor quality for the price they want. The only reason I have not returned this jacket is due to I got it as a Christmas gift, or I would have definitely returned it. Two Stars is being maybe to fair...

Warm and mostly comfortable, but the sleeves have issues.
Wore this over a long-sleeved shirt and the fleece sleeves really create a lot of friction, making it hard to take on and off some times. Like one of this finger traps they give away at school carnivals. Also, the straps at the end of the sleeves are too long/big, making it easy for the inner fleece sleeves to move way inside or way out of the shell. They don't hold them firmly in place very well. Kind of annoying having to adjust them all the time.

The best jacket I ever had. Purchased in 2008 Bugaboo, still like new!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of this jacket is incredible. I bought it to go to the UK during Christmas 2008, where I walked in the rain and cold for most of my stay, without feeling it thanks to it. Since then I have used it in the bitter Chicago winter, in the Smoky Mountains, on the NC beaches for 4wd and winter walking on the sand, with Willow, my dog. Also to work on the roofs of buildings with a lot of wind and with all the comfort of movement that a technician in industrial equipment needs, etc. I still have it and despite dozens of washes, it's still like new. I love this jacket, I'm glad they continue to make it.

Old school depends on this
I bought my first Bugaboo ten years ago and wore it out! I like to do winter mountaineering in Colorado and this is the best coat for that I have owned in fifty years. I like the numerous pockets and the fit. It is great in the wind. The hood works well. I do buy it a little big to get one more layer underneith. And it looks good! This is my second Bugaboo!
