GET A GRIP!!! Best Vibram sole on a Chaco yet!
I've worn these sandals for close to a year now and couldn't be more impressed with the performance and durability of the sole. Having owned several pairs of Chaco sandals this is the best outsole I've tried yet. You still get the supportive foot bed, and customizable webbing we all have come to love with Chaco but this sandal has GRIP!

Comfort and Grip!
I started wearing this sandal as my "river shoe" guiding both one day trips and then multi day trips. I like the comfort, the support and the grip. First thing I noticed was my ease to hop boat to boat and never slip. The comfort was second. Because I found it to be as comfortable (and it's a good looking sandal) I have I continued wearing the sandal as the season ended in my every day life. These sandals have been on my feet in cities, bike rides, sail boats, catamarans, hikes, and lots of pavement walking. Zero complaints! As soon as the weather warms up you will find my feet back in the Rapid Pro sandal

My new favorites
I got to try these out and got a great feeling right from the start, seemed to hold to the slick rocks like I had sticky tape on the bottom of my Chacos,

Great for all adventures in the canyon!
I used this shoe for guiding purposes over 70 days last season and they held up in the desert very well. They are still my main shoe for hiking and non-rapid boating. I like the adjustability and the sole is the comfiest ive experienced with this type of shoe.

Sticky and Sturdy
I use these shoes for work as a guide. First impressions are comfort and style. The foot bed is cushy and the straps are wide and adjustable. The sole of the shoe goes past the toes and offers good protection against kicking rocks. This feature also may cause a snag stepping over bow lines so keep an eye out and step high. I really like the lugged treads for trail use. These sandals shine in the traction department. Sticky reliable rubber clings to rocks even when they are wet. Over all a great sandal. I can spend the entire summer wearing these.

So sticky!
Chaco sandals are the only sandals I wear - with the rapid pro's improved, grippy sole I can't imagine using anything else. There is a notable difference in how well these sandals stick to the stuff I want them to stick to!

Stick Soles
I've used this shoe while working in creeks and while rafting/boating. I've always liked this style of Chaco sandal but the difference between this sandal and previous ones was their ability to "stick" to wet rocks and rocks with algae. I never slipped once while wearing these sandals.
