Perfect sands with 1 defect
The heel strap on my right sandal was sewn on at a bad angle. My heel wants to come out every time I take a step. Other than this the shoes are amazing. The vibrant soles are spectacular

Amazing grip
I’ve been wearing chacos for 20 years and this sole specifically is the best in the game. As a boater and avid fly fisher over burned through simms and korker soles over the years and they in no way compare with the grip of the fishing companies. On a recent trip to MT I regularly op-ed for these wade fishing on snot rocks over my much more protected fishing boots. Worth every cent for the upgrade.

Great river shoes
Great shoes for the rivers up in Montana. I have dedicated these for only boating. Hope these bottoms become an option on the customizer in the future!

My new hiking sandal
Hiked the first 20 miles from the Columbia River to Cannon Beach, Oregon with them. Great traction, comfort, and support. Excellent on sand and in water.

Great Sandals.
First pair of Chacos! Suffice it to say, dang sorry I waited. Only issue I have is length of adjustment strap. Drags when adjusted to fit my foot properly. Will gladly accept potential solutions. Otherwise? Awesome sandals.

Worthy upgrade.
Excellent upgrade with the return of the Vibram sole. It looks like this sole will be unique to this new sandal, based on the notched design. Put maybe 50 miles of trail on these and typical Chaco comfort and quality. Some boulder hopping on a mountain trout stream, too The front part of the strap seems to be a softer webbing than other Zs I have worn, perhaps in the name of comfort and ease of slide adjustment? It has caused some loosening of the straps, I think. The downturned buckle and loose strap end are magnets for fly line-otherwise these are pretty perfect for me. Would be nice to have the US made option on these.

Rapid Pro is excellent
The Rapid Pro is an excellent sandal using the same great strap system as other Chaco sandals. The sole with the Vibram hiking outsole provides really good grip for all types of terrain. The RP has become my daily wear for the summer (and the tan lines on my feet prove it). Very glad I made the purchase.
