    Trail style, everyday.

Just because you aren't able to spend every day on the trail doesn't mean you can't pretend that's where you are. Lace up the Chaco Fields Boot to bring a little trail style to your everyday wardrobe. With a tucked-in pair of jeans and a cozy fleece, you'll have that off-duty thru-hiker look dialed, plus plenty of traction for whatever Mother Nature throws your way. A full-grain leather upper promises to mold to your foot over time, while Chaco's renowned Luvseat footbed and a springy EVA midsole support your foot through long days of errands. The non-marking, skid-resistant rubber sole and its capable tread give you plenty of stability when you head off-road, even if it's just for a quick lunchtime walk through the park.

    My favorite all-season boot.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

It says that it fits "true to size", but I'd say to size down a half-size. I'm normally a 7 and ordered a 6.5 and they fit perfectly, even with heavy wool socks. With the 7, I'd have way too much extra room.

What the other reviews are saying is true: there's definitely a break in period. Give it at least 5 days to get used to the arch supports and ankle supports. At first, the arch felt like it was in a completely wrong spot on my foot, but the more I wore them, the more they mellowed out. The ankle supports do dig into your achilles at first, but they broke down and softened up after the first couple of days I wore them. And they do scuff super easily, but I like how it looks.

One thing to be weary of is the super deep tread. It's great for walking over ice and snow, but you'll definitely keep mud tucked up there for longer than you (or your white carpets) would normally like. Just remember to either take off the boots before going inside, or scrape your feet for a good minute on the doormat.

All in all, these are are great all-season boot. Especially if you lather them up with some SnoSeal or some other waterproof wax for winter.

    Great Gift

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size

I gave these shoes a gift to my mom for mothers days and she "loves them to pieces". These shoes are sturdy for doing a fair amount of casual walking but very trendy and hippy mom that she feels very comfortable in them.

    Awesome boots for the price!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size

These boots are excellent for their price. Similar boots can go for double so if these hold up over time they are a great value. Just like any other tough boot they take a while before they become comfortable so give them some time to break in before you doing any serious traveling.

    Chacos for the win!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I love these boots as much as my other Chaco sandals. They have the same great arch support and they're super cute, too! I've only worn them a couple times, so far, but they are really comfortable and didn't need breaking in.

    super cute

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 9
    • Height: 5'10"
    • Weight: 150lbs

I love these boots and they keep my feet warm and dry in slushy winter weather. They did take a few wears to break in for me but definitely worth it. They also seem to grip snow and ice safely for those sketchy parking lots.

    Chaco everyday!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: 7.5
    • Height: 5'7"
    • Weight: 135lbs

I had high expectations for these boots. And they lived up to them! I have worn them a handful of times and I was expecting to have to break them in, but they were comfy the first time I wore them, which means they will only get better with time. I am on my second pair of chaco sandals, and once I saw these I just could not wait to be able to have chaco on my feet all year round! I am usually an 8 in the sandals, but i went with a 7.5 because they felt better to me. I highly recommend the Chaco brand to everyone!

    Everyone will compliment your shoes!

Ohhh I love these boots! I have some great things to says and one constructive. These boots are comfy! No break in needed really and the leather is soft. The foot bed is perfect for people with narrow feet and high arches. I also went up a half size and the boots fit perfectly with room for some thick wool socks. The only draw back is the wear on the leather. It is a very soft leather. I had these on for a week and was bummed to see a scuff or mark on the boot when ever it would grace a surface even just slightly. I'm not sure if this is intentional by the designers or not because people do love that worn look that leather can get. It's cool and all but after a week, it looked like I had owned these shoes for years. Ending on a positive note, the soles of the shoes are beefy, grippy and solid! That's one of the reasons I love Chaco so much, the soles! Great boot :)
