Toddler Girls' Slippers

Most plush teddy bear and faux-fur styles are best for cozy winter lounging since their polyester linings can trap heat up to about 20 degrees warmer than barefoot. Faux-leather slip-on booties with EVA or rubber outsoles are better for quick indoor-outdoor transitions but aren’t meant for rugged outdoor play.

Sizing generally runs true-to-age and brands like Carter's or Old Navy match toddler sizes closely, with adult‑S covering roughly toddler 5–10. If your child wears thicker socks or is between sizes, size up a half-size to preserve rounded toe room and reduce tripping.

About 80% of styles are machine-washable; plush models and faux-fur trims from brands like Carter's usually handle a gentle cycle and air-dry well. For faux‑leather or jelly slippers, spot clean instead to protect the EVA or rubber outsoles and any molded tread.

Flat soles under a 1-inch heel and rounded toe geometry reduce the chance of stubbing, while non-slip outsoles with roughly 0.5-inch tread depth improve traction on hardwood or tile. Also look for grippy rubber dots and antimicrobial linings to boost floor grip and reduce odor during daily wear.

Expect about 6–12 months of daily indoor wear for most plush styles, since stitched seams and padded insoles provide comfort but will show use over time. Models like Bearpaw and UGG tend to be more reinforced—Bearpaw with a sheepskin-like wool blend and UGG with breathable sheepskin linings for longer-lasting collars and reduced pilling.
