Toddler Boys' Purple Sweatshirts

For everyday indoor play and mild layering, a cotton crewneck or cotton-blend pullover is breathable and soft, often made from 100% cotton. Fleece hoodies offer more warmth and durability; fleece weights around 7-10 oz provide noticeably more heat for cooler days.

Aim for a relaxed or regular fit so your toddler can run, climb, and layer without restriction; many styles are sized 12M–5T or 2T–7. Carter's and similar brands use standard geometry with room for growth, so avoid slim cuts that may bind active kids.

Zip-ups are generally easier for quick on-off during potty breaks and outdoor transitions, helping toddlers dress themselves faster. Styles like the Old Navy zip-up hoodie are especially handy for layering and speedy changes.

Fleece hoodies trap more heat and are better for fall and winter outdoor play, while lightweight cotton pullovers work well for mild weather and indoor activities. Expect a mid-weight fleece around 7-10 oz to feel substantially warmer than a thin cotton-blend pullover.

Look for labels such as Carter's or Children's Place that typically offer roomier cuts and standard sizing aimed at active toddlers. Always check the brand's height-weight chart when choosing between 12M–5T or 2T–7 to get the best fit.
