Bikini Tops

For surfing and high-movement activities pick sports bralettes or high-neck rash-guard styles that lock in with firm compression and chafe-free seams. Models like the Title Nine sports bralette use compression seams and a snug 78% nylon/22% spandex blend, while high-neck rash guards often add UPF 50+ sun protection for long sessions.

Triangle and bandeau styles tan best because adjustable string ties and strapless tube shapes minimize straps and lines. These styles suit small to medium busts (A–B), and pieces like the PatPat triangle top can crisscross for even tanning without sacrificing coverage.

Underwire and balconette tops deliver the highest support for fuller chests with bra-like shaping and wider-set straps. The Knix underwire top is designed for DD+ support and uses plastic-coated metal underwire and reinforced stitching to give a reliable 10–15 lb lift during swimming.

Start by matching your bust size—sizing on these tops spans 32A to XXL—and know that cup geometry matters for separation and coverage. Favor adjustable ties, wide straps, or convertible styles and try removable or molded cups to fine-tune fit and prevent gapping or spillage.

Nylon-spandex blends such as a 78% nylon/22% spandex mix offer quick-dry stretch and good chlorine resistance, while double-lined fabrics maintain opacity. Also look for construction details like reinforced stitching, plastic-coated metal underwire for rust-proof support, and OEKO-TEX or bluesign certifications for safer dyes and sustainable fabrics.
