Not Impressed
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I'm 5'7" and 165 pounds and purchased this bib short (XL) and the Castelli Entrata 2 bib short (XL) as well. The Espresso fit is okay, but I wish there was a bit more length to the shoulder straps as they felt a bit snug, even for my "lofty" stature. They are a good hot weather short, but wish there was a bit more support around the thighs. The Progetto X2 Air Seamless pad is good only up to 2 hours of riding and after that I found myself constantly adjusting the pad and felt like the pad simply compressed to the point where I felt every bump in the road. I am somewhat surprised with this experience because I've had better luck with non-bib Castelli shorts. I found that the Kiss 2 pad in the Entrata 2 short provided somewhat better experience than the Progretto X2. Next purchase will be Assos GTS bib shorts.

Love them except for the bib straps
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
6' / 175lbs / 31" waist size Lg fits perfectly. In Pearl Izumi and Pactimo I wear Med bibs. The shorts fit great and fabric is snug w/o being overly tight. The X2 pad is comfortable and located correctly but not as good as Elastic Interface pads on other bibs I have. The waist isn't loose and the leg gripper stays put. The perforated bib straps however are somewhat rough and irritate my nips sometimes.

Hot, but super comfy
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I know temperature ranges are purely subjective and Castelli lists these in a 59-95 Fahrenheit range, but I would rate them to the 80-85 degree range tops. The fronts are probably one of the highest pair of bibs that I have and is definitely a thicker material which seems to hold in the heat a little more. Otherwise these are great bibs! The Progretto X2 chamois is well worth the upgrade over the Kiss 2, especially on longer rides.

Nice tight shorts
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- M
- Height:
- 5' 9"
- Weight:
- 132
I've ridden them twice, including an 82-mile ride. They are pretty nice. They are smaller than my other size-M kit, including two pairs of Castelli bib shorts. Not a full size smaller but noticeably, and all over the place: strap length, leg opening, crotch area. For reference I am 5'9", jeans waist 30, and Rapha (etc) in Medium is bang on. Gotta say though that while they felt tight trying them on, once I hit the tarmac they kinda disappeared on me.

The comfort I deserve
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
These bib shorts are extremely comfortable and hold my genitals securely; no need to re-adjust during a ride. They're even more comfortable than my Assos shorts, which had been the best so far. Unlike previous Castelli shorts, the sizing is correct. A Medium fits me fine while I had to get Large before. All that's left is to see how they hold up. But I'm all set to order a second pair.

I like it better than the Endurance
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
This bib is similar to the Endurance 3 bib that I have been wearing for a year, except it is better. It doesn't have that silly fabric elastic band at the cuff, which always stretches out and becomes useless. Instead, the lycra is raw-cut at the bottom. It runs small, same as the Endurance. I wish the straps were a bit longer.

Look great, feel great!
- Familiarity:

Mine are green - I probably could have bought an XXL but the XL is fine. I bought these to go with Espresso Mocha jersey. All the photos show both items to be a little lighter than the actually are, but still OK.

wow!!!! luxurious and great fit!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
this is what a pro kit must feel like. I've worn castelli for years but never the higher end stuff. I ordered both the bib and jersey and couldn't be happier. I guess there really is a difference. highly recommend..
