For the men that still find themselves welding things together, sawing things apart, or screwing things down even after they’ve gone home for the day, Carhartt designed the Rugged Flex Rigby Straight-Fit Pant. They carry many qualities of a workpant: stretch where you need it, heavyweight material, reinforced pockets, and a tapered leg opening to fit over boots. But the slim legs and relaxed waist look and feel more like the pants you’d wear at your BBQ in the backyard or out to the bar.

Good for tall and skinny with boots
Bought a second pair because the first was my favorite pair of pants. Wish there were more than two color options. **note** the cut is tighter from the waist to knee but loosens from the knee to foot. Fits my boots well.

New version is not the same as the old one.
NEW VERSION ALERT: My old one was thick material, made in Colombia. New pant as a replacement is made in Nicaragua and the material is thinner. I am extremely disappointed that Carhartt decided to go the way of other companies by cheaping out and charging the price. The fit is the same.

Terrible pant
Fit is terrible. Leg opens up below the knee like MC Hammer. Material is noticeable thinner and scratchier than the straight fit pant that no longer exists. Will never wear again. Hate them.

Hands down the best work pant I've owned. Durable and comfortable. Color fades significantly after a few washes

Fit was perfect. I don't like the loose fitting pants, and they aren't too slim like some brands. First time ordering these and will be ordering more.

Basically a skinny fit jean
These are incredibly slim fit basically a skinny fit. I'm 6' 170 and the waist and length fit true to size but after a few washes these are unwearable. Not sure if all are like this or if I got defective pairs.

The new slim fit is horrible. Discontinue them and bring back the straight fit!

Not for me
Cool pants, but they are too slim fitting. Seem to run a little long as well.

Bring back the straight cut canvas work pants from the spring 2020 collection.

Not made to last
Pants look great but not made to last. Bought a pair 4 months ago and already tore in the crotch area and don't even use them heavy. I've had cheaper jeans last me much longer. For the price they should last much longer and be much more durable. Also not true to size, recommend getting a size or two bigger than what you really are.
