Less than ideal, not a work jacket.
Size M This jacket is not made for work. The shoulder and arms are "re-engineered" and are much worse fitting than the original jacket. The arms are tight and don't allow much movement, the sleeves are almost humorously long with giant cuffs at the end that aren't practical to roll up and are generally uncomfortable. I went out on a limb buying this because of the new color and have tried hard to like the jacket given the price, but it is one of my least favorite products I have ordered from this company. For an around the town or standing still jacket it's fine, still awkward in the fit? but for any amount of ranch work or labor, you will be uncomfortable, and constantly bothered by this jacket.

Jacket
Like it, thought it would be a bit warmer even with the 1warm rating. Not sure of the durability rating below bc I've only had it a couple weeks. Time will tell but so far so good.

Looks great, but mine had some initial issues.
It's definitely a light weight version of the Detroit jacket, easy to move around in but still looking great, the trouble I had with mine was one of the stitch lines going down the left sleeve wasn't done right. The stitch came undone in a week of casual wear, I did call and got it replaced so hopefully it was just a one off. Apart from that great jacket

Different
I love the jacket. But would like it in carharrt brown instead. I haven't removed any of the tags and still have the receipt. How can I do that?

Great all season jacket.
Jacket is true to size with good room around the shoulders for free movement and layering. It seems to be a well made light jacket and will be my new go to jacket. I wish they made this exact jacket in sand dune with lined sleeves and insulation for winter.

Classic Detroit in an almost Unlined Style
Suitable for South Texas just about year round. It is a great jacket for cool mornings or evenings, with room to layer if needed. Fits and wears like a denim jacket, without the drop tail hem of the current Blanket Detroit model and added adjustment snaps. (In fact it is so nice that my girlfriend has co-opted it as her work jacket now) My few complaints is the lack of back / shoulder gussets, and that how the sleeves are unlined but the body is. With how thin the lining is, you could do without, but I understand it is there for the internal pockets.

Great Jacket, Perfect Size.
This jacket is great. The quality isn't as good as the old J97 jackets in my opinion as the lining of the jacket feels a little less durable, Especially where the Velcro is on the right inside pocket. It almost feels as if I am going to rip the liner while pulling the Velcro apart but that may just be as it is fresh Velcro. Overall the jacket is good quality and the fit is great. (For reference I am 6'4 and roughly 180lbs and I ordered a Medium Tall) I usually struggle to find jackets with proper sleeve length but if you are a taller guy with long arms, the tall sizes work perfectly.
