Brittania Down Parka
Your daughter loves the cute style of the Canada Goose Girls' Brittania Down Parka and you love the warmth and weather-protective features that keep her comfortable on her walks to school. The 625-fill down insulation covers her knees to her head with wonderful warmth in winter weather. And thanks to down's warmth-to-weight ratio, your girl will remain cozy without feeling like she's wrapped in a heavy lead blanket. Both the Arctic-Tech shell and lining have water-resistant coatings that increase this jacket's protection against wet weather. When your daughter starts her growth spurt, you can extend the sleeves an inch and a half for additional coverage.
The Brittania features an adjustable hood that cinches down in blustery winds, and the fashionable fur ruff is removable to help you clean the jacket when it gets dirty. A storm flap covers the front zipper to prevent cold winds from seeping in through the jacket's front. Rib-knit cuffs keep all that wonderful warmth in, and an elasticized waist seals the cold out of her body. Canada Goose lined both hand pockets with fleece for a cozy feeling. The internal security pocket has a cord port to hold her headphones in place, and glove hooks ensure she doesn't lose her gloves when she gets to school.

Hello! Quick question: Is the Girls' Canada Goose Brittania Down Parka just as warm as the Womens' Kensington Down Parka, or is the Kensington warmer? I am 5'6" and weigh 120lbs. I would prefer to get a Girls' L or XL to save money, but warmth is my priority! Would the Girls' sizes be too short on me? If not, would you recommend a L or XL for me? I don't know my measurements but have a thin frame. Thank you!!

hello ，i am 152cm，45kg， what size about the Canada Goose Brittania Down Parka - Girls' is suitable for me ，XL or L ，I am not sure ，thanks！

Hi, I'm trying to decide between M and L. I'm only 5 feet tall but weigh 116 lbs. I usually wear North Face women's S; North Face Girls' L (14/16) also fits me. Since I don't own a Canada Goose and can't find one in store to try on, I'm having a hard time deciding on the right size. Or, do you think I would NOT fit in this and need to opt for a women's size (S?)?? Thank you for your help!

Sandra, Sizing can be tough for petite ladies, and as I'm sure you know, it can be difficult to get the proportions just right, especially in the arms and shoulders! I would probably put you in a L, based on your height and weight alone. You should have an email from me with some follow up information as well-- best of luck in your search!

I imagine the debate for you is between S and XS, but based on how this jacket tends to fit I would recommend an S for you. If you notice in the question below, our Gear Guru Wayne Christoffersen also recommends that size and the sizing chart would suggest a S for you based on chest measurement. I hope this helps.

Given that the sizing chart only provides a chest measurement comparison, and provided that you are a comfortable 32in bust and not pushing 33, I would go with the size Large. However, if you are over 32, or you think you will continue to grow a little bit over the next year or two, I would suggest going up to an XL to allow for a bit of additional room to meld into with time.

Hey Elaine, I would wager that you would probably fit nicely in a size Small but I can't be sure with those measurement. If we knew the circumference of your chest we could really narrow down that size and say for sure what you should order. If you would like you could compare that measurement against our size chart provided above or you could give us a call and we could help you out.
