The Nano 22 Express KS Quickdraw packs small and performs big on multi-pitch and alpine routes

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"I have been racking the Nano 22 Express KS Quickdraw on multi-pitch routes where weight and gear loop space both matter, and the difference is immediately noticeable. The compact carabiner size takes up significantly less room than a standard draw without sacrificing the gate opening you need for clean clips and clove hitches. The Karstop Evo retainer keeps the rope-end carabiner locked in place on long runouts where you do not want anything shifting around."

On a long multi-pitch route or a committing alpine rock climb, every gram on the harness is a gram you carry through every move of every pitch. The CAMP Nano 22 Express KS Quickdraw was built with that reality in mind, delivering a genuinely ultralight quickdraw that keeps the rack lean without asking you to compromise on the features that matter most when you are clipping from an awkward position high off the deck.

Two Nano 22 wire gate carabiners sit at either end of an 11mm Dyneema dogbone, combining low weight with the strength ratings serious climbing demands at 21kN on the major axis and 22kN on the sling. The compact carabiner profile takes up noticeably less real estate on gear loops than traditional draws, making racking and unracking faster and cleaner on the sharp end. Despite the reduced footprint, the 17mm gate opening still accommodates normal clipping technique and clove hitch knots, two benchmarks that confirm the Nano 22 never crosses the line into too small to be practical. A Karstop Evo carabiner retainer on the rope-end keeps the bottom biner oriented and stable through falls, runouts, and everything in between.
