    Be The Hero

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

You'll be the hero of any campsite if you show up with a couple of these, a loaf of white bread, and canned cherry filling for quick and easy cherry pies! If you are cooking over an open fire, do your self a favor and pick up one of these.

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Before last summer I had absolutely no idea what to cook in a camp fire besides hot dogs, and then my in-laws introduced me to these. "Pudgie pie makers" as they call them are the best thing to happen to camp food since double pronged marshmallow skewers. I'm now able to make pizza pockets, cheese burgers, and pancakes! I've never been more excited about camp food, and can't wait to use my own this summer during our camping trips.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

i haven't been able to test it in a campfire just yet, but the cooking iron is well made as far as i can tell and latches shut securely. i'm looking forward to making pizza in it. i did that as a kid with my family and i want to pass that on!

So much more than a sandwich maker!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This square cooking iron is extremely versatile and will add a nice array of food options to your next camping trip. With a price point below twenty dollars this product is a no brainer! After a few trial and error sessions you will be cooking like a pro. Be careful not to get the iron too hot. I have cooked several eggs, cinnamon rolls, pies, and sandwiches with this tool. This is an awesome addition to the weekend camping trip, and a great gift idea.

    Crispy on the outside..

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Gooey on the inside!! This cast iron contraption is a necessity for camping (or even the backyard bonfires.) It toasts the sandwiches to a nice crisp and everything on the inside is hot and delicious. I've made regular sammis, pizza 'pockets' and even breakfast sandwiches. You need one!

    Greatest thing to exist...EVER

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This is the greatest thing to ever exist. Take 2 pieces of bread any meat, any cheese, close contraption, set in fire, wait ~5 minutes. Eat your heart out.

    everything becomes a sandwich

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I had one of these growing up and i now own one myself, and i can truly say you can cook almost anything in these. from cakes to pizza pockets, you name it this thing can do it.

    Nifty little thing

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This thing is pretty cool. You can make grilled cheeses, paninis, maybe brownies, and other square shaped treats. The only downside is that it is a bit small for a standard piece of bread. You either take the crust off before or it ends up just burning off. Either way it is a cool gadget for car camping.
