The Burton Men's Ridge Pant doesn't like being pigeonholed as a "hiking" pant. Sure, its tough, stretchy ripstop fabric helps you move comfortably over rugged terrain and withstands the rigors of the great outdoors, and its removable webbing belt allows for an adjustable fit that keeps up with you through your toughest treks. But, those same qualities also make it an excellent choice for skating or biking through town. And with its slim-straight fit and low-key style, the Ridge is at home on any road you walk, paved or dirt.

These pants are a pretty unique combination of outdoor/hiking style and modern/slim fit. The build in belt is a huge plus for convenience, and also makes them a perfect pant for traveling because it's plastic so you don't have a belt to take off at security! Fit is true to size, with a tapered cut that gets pretty slim in the ankles/calves.

Been looking for a good hiking pant that still had the fit and style of my day to day denim. Finally found a pair to fit that bill. Great, tapered/slim fit in a lightweight, breathable and stretchy material. The attached belt doesn't really offer me much right now as it is kind of hard to adjust. I'm guessing it is just stiff around the clasp and will loosen up after use. Good thing is, I don't need it as they fit true to size in the waist. A bit long, but that works well for me. I don't mind a little bunching at the ankle and may take them up a half inch if I ever really feel like it. Zippered back pockets are great to have, too.
