    Jet Set Jacket

Hit the mountain in style with Burton's fully-functional and bestselling Women's Jet Set Jacket. Not only is the Jet Set packed with bonus features, but it has the weatherproof chops to keep you riding while the snow is falling and the wind is gusting. The DryRide 2-layer membrane is waterproof and breathable, with critically taped seams keep the sogginess at arm's length, while a generous helping of Thermolite insulation makes sure you stay toasty when the temperature plummets at the summit chair.

A removable powder skirt keeps the snow out of the jacket as you surf through waist-deep storm snow, and an adjustable hem cinch and jacket-to-pant interface ensure that no cold air can sneak through and give you an unpleasant chill. Two secure hand pockets keep your snacks and other essentials accessible, and two internal pockets provide a place for your goggles and phone. To top it all off, a slim, sleek fit means you can wear this jacket from the mountain straight into town without skipping a beat.

    • Warm jacket for ripping the resort in style
    • Eco-conscious synthetic insulation traps body heat
    • 2-layer fabric fends off snowflakes and showers
    • Critically taped seams ensure no moisture permeates through
    • Removable powder skirt blocks snow from entering jacket
    • Hem cinch and jacket-to-pant interface seal out the cold
    • Multiple pockets secure your on-mountain essentials
    • Slim fit transitions from mountain to street with ease

    its alright

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 5'6"
    • Weight: 180lbs

I got the "true black heather" its NOT BLACK WHATSOEVER. its a dark grey.
I usually wear a large in jackets so i got a large. it almost fits like a medium.
this jacket has a little clip in the pocket so you can clip your keys or something which is cool. and the other pocket has a small hidden pocket to store something you dont want to fall out like chapstick or something

**the jacket is also pretty short, hardly covers your backside.

    Perfect Affordable Jacket

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Large
    • Height: 5'3"

I love this jacket, it has been my go to jacket for years on end. It is affordable, comfortable and true to size. I use it from walking around town, to hitting the slopes. I like longer jackets, so while I am small, I get a large in this coat to be the perfect fit. I can fit puffys under it too for those powder days.

    Great jacket!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: Runs small

I bought this jacket primarily because I loved the style and fit and I've gotten lots of compliments on it. But the function and warmth are what keeps me wearing this over other outerwear options in my closet. On the mountain, shoveling snow, or shopping, this jacket is my go to all winter.

    Perfect Crossover Jacket!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'6"
    • Weight: 130lbs

I love this jacket because I'm able to use it for both skiing and cruising around town on a cold day. It has a media port for my headphones, the powder skirt is removable for when I want to wear the jacket out on the town, but most importantly it is very warm!

    LOVE IT!

I ordered a M Canvas and I LOVE IT!!! It's VERY stylish and w/the Canvas color nicely understated. I didn't want all my pieces to be colorful and this brings all my other colors in my kit together NICELY. Lots of compliments! I am 120 and 5'7 and can wear an XS but I also wear wrist guards and like to wear sweatshirts when I ride so a M is perfect. I could probably wear a small but I don't like jackets that bunch around my waist so a M hangs perfectly and still conveys the style of the jacket. A L would have been too baggy. I think the quality is GREAT and I'll be looking forward to wearing this jacket in seasons to come!

      Great Jacket!

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
      • Fit: True to size

So when I bought this jacket, I thought the price was a little much, but I used some credit that I had on my account. Sure glad I bought this jacket, it's a great jacket! At 5'7" and 140 lbs, I ordered a medium, and its perfect. It's just the right length, a little long on the arms, but other than that its perfect!

      Fantastic Fit!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size

Love this jacket! Very feminine, yet totally bomb proof, this jacket seems to have a little bit of a slimmer fit, but still has all the whistles and bells that would come along with a bigger jacket.

      I'm 5'5" roughly 125lbs, and I prefer a Large when I would normally take a Medium.

True to size if you're stick thin, Runs small if you're slightly bigger or prefer more room to move around/layer.

      ON and Off the sLopes

I love the blazer inspired silhouette of the jet set. Really great updated features from last year. Its more on the slim side with mid warmth and so many hidden features like: a removable waist gaiter, venting Pit Zips and a plush wind-blocking collar, I?m always ready for action.

I am looking at purchasing this jacket to go skiing in Colorado in December. I noticed one review mentioned it as being "only a shell with room to layer underneath" so I am curious how warm this jacket will be? I do not want to purchase it and wind up with a rain jacket haha

Burton makes great coats. I have a shell from a decade ago (not this one). They are more waterproof and windproof than a rain jacket. You will def need layers though. I like to do a wool base layer and then a sweater or good hoodie under mine. On super cold days, I would even do a down vest. I live in UT, and it is already really cold. Colder than it has been for many winters so I would suggest bringing a lot of layers. :)
