Loaded with a Single-Component Re:Flex baseplate, the Cartel Re:Flex maintains a smooth, consistent flex for all-terrain prowess. Its Re:Flex system allows you to flex the binding without underfoot dead zones created by traditional mounting discs. This design features a minimized baseplate and hinged disc, allowing you to maximize the flex of your board, also reducing materials used for a lighter overall binding. Additionally, the baseplate has an AutoCant FullBed that's cushioned with Under-Baseplate EVA padding and B3 gel for reduced foot fatigue from high-speed vibrations, choppy snow, and harsh landings.

The binding's highback consists of a Single-Component, Canted Living Hinge, Zero-Lean Hi-Back. This basically means that the highback comes stock with zero forward lean, which is a good thing if you're a jib monkey or park rat who lives for pressing through the rails or buttering around the mountain. There's tool-less adjustable forward lean in the form of DialFlad, allowing you to crank up forward lean on-the-fly before you drop into the pipe or carve down groomers.

Burton outfitted the Cartel Re:Flex with a super-comfy Reactstrap that's 3D-contoured to eliminate any pressure points. The Gettagrip Capstrap has a rubberized inside that relentlessly grips over the toe of your boot, pulling it back into the heelcup for maximum response and a seamless fit.
