    If You Don't Know...

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Now you know. Buffs are the best. One of, if not the most versatile piece of headwear. Snowboarding, climbing, hiking, eating breakfast, whatever it is I want my buff on. If you don't already have one (or a collection), pick one of these up stat.

    Awesome gift!

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I got this for my sister, she loves the pattern. She uses it as a scarf and headband mainly. They protect you from exposure and look awesome. The hardest part is picking from all the patterns.

    Necessity

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have like 5 of these and I still could use more. In the winter I use them for skiing, can't ski without one. The rest of the year I bunch them up and use them as headbands. I also fold one up and use it under my helmet to keep my hears warm and secure my helmet. Somehow so warm on my face even though they're thin.

    Everyone Needs a Buff(s)

Like many of the reviewers below me, I am a firm believer in the fact that one cannot have too many buffs. I wear/ use them almost every day. As a headband, a neck gaitor, or hat. It is a necessary part of any adventurer's kit.

Don't head for the hills without it

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
        • Fit: True to size

Best piece I have, winter and summer. Goes under other hats (sun or warm) and helmets also. I'm a backcountry pro working in the High Sierra since 2005 and avid snowboarder (front and backcountry). If I'm going to the mountains, I'm bringing my buff! I also love to wear it under my sun hat when I'm playing tennis on sunny winter days or cover my ears with it when I'm running in my suburban neighborhood.

        Very Useful!

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times
        • Fit: True to size

I love how this can be used for so many things! I've already used it as a headband when rockclimbing and I plan on using it a lot more when it gets a bit colder out. The Istanbul print is really unique and true to the picture. I love the color as well! The only downside I noticed, is that when using it as a headband, it tends to want to slide back on my head. I typically have this problem with fabric headbands though and I think it might just have to do with my head shape. I am thinking about getting a fleece lined buff for my next purchase!!

        Perfect for Everything

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times
        • Fit: True to size

I love buffs and this one is no exception. They are everything you could want for a headband, gaiter, liner hat, muffler, etc. Plus, the colors rock.

        It Speaks For Itself

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
        • Fit: True to size

I've used these for awhile now and I love them! perfect for any outdoor activity when you need some protection/warmth or taming... ...and look good doing it! Bought this for my girlfriend. It won't let you down. great breathability and warmth. cool designs all around weather its the full Buff or half. Great product. Highly recommended

        So versatile

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
        • Fit: True to size

I have an obsession with buffs. I have a range of sizes but I like the versatility of the full buffs the most. I had leukemia and a bone marrow transplant so the fact that this has UPF in it is amazing. I am still on chemotherapy and from past treatments of high dose chemo and radiation I am susceptible to other forms of cancer and skin is pretty high up there so I am always protecting myself. Nice and soft against a bald head, I've taking it swimming in the ocean and in the pool. I've taken it skiing, I've used it for running. I think I've worn it every way possible. Neck buff, head band, hat, ninja style, it's all comfortable, easy to wash, the color and designs are fun and make me feel pretty.

        These are awesome

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
        • Fit: True to size

Bought mine for skiing. Keeps neck warm and dry but material is still breathable so you can pull it up over your nose so you don't get a mouth full of powder on your way down the hill. Love the pattern. Highly recommend them!

        LOVE

        • Fit: True to size

I absolutely love my new BUFF. It is so versatile and great for doing anything outdoors. I love wearing it as a headband when hiking. It is great for wicking sweat. I love the variety of patterns as well. It fits nicely and isn't too tight around my head.

        Love it! So versatile!

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I got this for a backpacking trip and I am so glad that I purchased this! The material is so lightweight and stretchy and I love the design that I picked out. I mainly used it as a big headband, filled skull cap, and just a basic neck warmer. It's light enough where you're head's not sweating (unless it's already super hot out!) but keeps you content with chillier temperatures and windy conditions. I would say it's not for temperatures below 30 degrees but it kept me comfortable from 40 degrees to 70 degrees. My only tiny complaint is that it made me break out on my forehead, which I've never had happen before with other headbands or hats while backpacking.

        Love it! So versatile!

        Fits my head!

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
        • Fit: True to size

I love this. Colors look just like the picture advertised, fabric is well made and strong.

I could not be happier with this purchase! It is the bomb!

        Buffness!

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

It does what a buff does! I bought this for a trek thru Nepal. It kept the sun off of my neck when it was blazing hot, wiped up my sweat, kept me warm when it was freezing, and kept my hair out of my face. I was warned about the "Khumbu Cough" and a good way to prevent it was by wearing a mask. Well it worked! And not that this is that important when you're sweaty, tired or freezin' your butt off, but it does help add some color and fun to somewhat drab hiking gear. :)

        Buffness!

        Great gift idea

        • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I bought a slew of these for friends of mine that ski/snowboard/hike/nordic and they love them! They seem to fit well and make for great gifts!

        Unanswered Question

Is this Buff, labeled "women's " actually a different width or length than a non-"women's" Buff?

        Unanswered Question

Is the material stretchy at all? I got a gaiter last winter and it didn't stretch at all so it just kept my neck warm but I couldn't stretch it to my face to keep the snow/ice off.
