Great jacket

love this Jacket, but prefer to have a tighten string on the waste, this doesn't have it so 4 instead of 5

Perfect jacket

Awesome. Lightweight, good light wind/rain protection. Looks good, fits right. Everything I wanted. I’ll probably never use the vest feature.

Not for everyone

It's a nice idea and basically a nice jacket. That said it's a bit heavy, the integrated vest idea adds bulk. It's not vented particularly well, but then so many of these aren't. Found the zipper to be a bit low quality. Returned it without using it.

Great night run jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is perfect for that short run when it’s dark. The jacket has high visibility running around my neighborhood at the end of the day and I even had a neighbor stop me to tell me how well they could see me running down the road. This jacket is very easy to convert to the vest function, but it does feel a little bulky and make my back feel warmer than normal because of the extra material. I truly love this jacket, but I wish the zipper functioned better. It works, but it catches a lot on the material of the jacket. If that kinda thing bothers you it will definitely get on your nerves. I would definitely recommend this to a friend looking for a lightweight high visibility running jacket!

My New Favorite Running Jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to start off by saying this is the jacket I didn't know I was missing in my running wardrobe. I have several other running jackets from other brands and this is by far superior to those. Here are reasons I loved this jacket: 1. I run primarily in the morning or in the evenings so a light-colored, reflective jacket is a must for me. This jacket has features to allow for high visibility during the low-light hours when I run. I feel safe and seen wearing this jacket. This was my favorite part of the jacket overall. 2. This jacket allows for the little bit of warmth I need at the beginning of my run, but also allows for the breathability I need further into my run. It has a light-ness to it that I have not found in other jackets. 3. Jacket runs true to size, I didn't have to guess what size to get. I will say my only con to the jacket was it took me a while to figure out how to convert the jacket into a vest. I had to go online and watch the video on the website several times. I didn't really care for the vest part, maybe it would be better for summer months when I don't need the jacket. Overall, this jacket is awesome and worth the price if you're a serious runner. Definitely recommend.

Brooks Running Jacket - Great Utility for the Aspiring Runner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over the past month or so I have been testing out my new Brooks Run Visible Convertible Jacket during my morning workouts. My workouts generally get done very early in the morning and even in this season it can start to get chilly in the fall days at 3am. My first impression of the product was that it was VERY light and felt like good quality cloth and zippers. This jacket was perfect for my short runs and was also non intrusive while wearing it during HIIT workouts in my garage interspersed with some short runs. Doing my workouts so early in the morning I did appreciate the reflective nature of the garment, the yellow and silver accents did not look awful or too in your face but the few times someone drove by while I was out I was confident it was completing its task . The conversion aspect of the jacket is a nice touch however, I was not a fan of what the jacket looked like in backpack form. Now from a utilitarian aspect this would work very well for someone doing an actual race or using this garment for work (where style or looks is not a concern). I will say for me, this would not be a feature I would use on a regular basis. Overall this jacket has now entered its place in my rotation as strictly a workout garment for likely the spring through fall seasons. This is the kind of quality and look I have come to expect from Brooks and would absolutely look to them in the future.

Almost perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This running jacket is lightweight, stylish, and functional. You can vent this jacket and convert it in multiple ways. It goes from jacket to vest very easily. It has ample pockets that are zippered and even a pocket within a pocket. The hood rolls up. It is very reflective and safe for night running. The material seems durable and does a good job of blocking wind without creating a sauna inside. The only issue I had was the main zipper is difficult to get started. I’m 5’11’’ 170lbs and the medium fits perfect.

Fun and functional

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is comfortable and great for running. It protects against wind and rain and I like the neon details to help keep me visible. I was in between sizes and I sized up, I wish I would have sized down as the jacket is very roomy. I wear this jacket on weekly running sessions and overall I think the quality is great and it will wear well over time. I would buy again but size down for the perfect fit.

Fits perfect. My wife and I share it. Conversion is not intuitive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm 5'10" and have the medium size. Fits me perfectly. My wife is 5' and has also worn it when she needs it and is very happy as well. I live in an area without street lights up north and like the reflective nature. It's not overbearing but enough to give me confidence I can be seen and still is stylish. Works great to shield the wind and keeps me warm but not excessively creating heat. My only complaint would be that the conversion to a vest is not intuitive at all. I have refelective shirts I wear when I don't feel the need for the jacket but still need something reflective.

Great for early morning/evening runners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the color, fit, and style of this convertible jacket. If just staring at it in jacket form, it does appear as a little confusing to figure converting it to a vest, but once you get it, your like, “ok duh.” So the flexibility is nice. The jacket itself is extremely light. I’d say it won’t be worn outside of running activities as it is just not meant for casual wear. The jacket is optimal for low-light activities and the visibility is great. Only used in windy weather, but think it did a great job. I’d recommend to even casual runners, for sure.
