Why We Like The Brooks Ghost Max Shoe
The Brooks Ghost Max shoe is built for those of us who believe there's no such thing as a shoe that's too soft. This road running shoe features a high stack of foam cushioning to place less pressure on our feet and soften the ride for our daily training runs, recovery days, and leisure walks. This max cushion version of the popular Ghost is softer than the OG and features a lower, 6mm drop for a comfortable, mid-foot strike.

Great cushioning, but a tight toe box for me.
I wanted to try out the Ghost Max in action, but it was very tight in the toe box in my usual 10.5 and was too big in 11. That said, it was like putting clouds on your feet. Brooks was fantastic throughout. They are my new go-to brand for running shoes.

Love them! They really helped after I broke a metatarsal in my foot! And I am taking a pair for a European vacation!

Great shoe for big guys
Great shoe. Very comfortable for big guys. Comes in wide which makes for a great fit. Much more comfortable than the Beast and even the Ghost. I have worn the Ghost for about 5 years and needed more comfort and protection. I love this shoe!

It's a nice shoe, but it doesn't have enough arch support. I would have ordered my third pair of Camera 6, but I couldn't get it in black anymore. I'm guessing you discontinued it? They provided excellent support for me. I bought these for work, so I needed black.

Good shoe
Good shoe, not the holy grail to help with my heal pain. It does a good job with support and has an interesting feel when walking in them.

Side Lace support an issue
Plastic lace support rubs the on ankle. Noticeable within the first few miles. Increased pain over time, even when not running. Returned

Soles didn’t last long.
I like the fit and comfort, but the soles wore down very quickly. Usually my shoes (Ghost) last 3-5 months, but Ghost Max wore through in 1 month. Won’t be buying Ghost Max again.
