It is a Godsend - Please Consider Making it as Summer Sandal
I haven't worn them yet, but purchased them as a backup for my Ghost Max. I suffered from terrible foot pain on the tops of my feet and osteoarthritis in my feet to the point of barely being able to walk. A foot doctor recommended I go to a running store and be fitted with shoes. I ended up with the extra wide Ghost Max. It not only are my feet nearly pain-free, I've started mall walking and while my feet are a little sore, the extreme pain has not returned. Now the weather is getting warm and it has me wishing I could find a Ghost Max with a lightweight/breathable upper or even better, a sandal. This shoe truly has been a Godsend.

So far so good!
I just walk so I can’t report on running, but there’s lots of room in the toe box and the extra cushion on the bottom is very cozy!

Brooks Max 2 ghost
Love the cushion feel and the ability to get these in extra wide. I wear a 4e so I can’t always find comphy shoes. My only complaint is the lack of color options

Got these for my husband since he is a dentist and is on his feet a lot and he does not take them off. It is the only shoe he wears now!

Ghost Max 2
Very comfortable shoe. It has some height to it, but I would believe that's due to the cushioning. Only concern, it rubs against the lateral ankle (outside ankle). I also hadn't realized until my socks got wet, it's not waterproof. I'll look to update in a few weeks.

Mixed Feelings
Pros 1. Price was fine. 2. Cushion is fine. 3. My knees do not hurt. Cons 1. I wear a size 12 (4E) and they are a little bit longer than expected. I am happy that there is plenty of room for my instep so my toes and front of foot are fine. 2. I love that the upper mesh is breathable and roomy, but the material is so soft that it does not stay tied so I can have a descent run as the shoe keeps slipping. 3. I feel like I am fighting the cushion. I like that it is firm so I will live with it, but it is more of a fight than support. Even with all the cons, I still say it is better than the Ghost 16 (garbage), Ghost Max 1 (solid, but cushion wore too soon), and a bunch of other shoes out there. If you are big person, than the Ghost Max 2 has more pros than cons despite how I listed them. lol....

Excellent SHoe!
Right foot completely messed up from wearing other name brand shoe - starts with an H and ends with an A. Also tried the shoe that starts with an A and ends with a C. The Ghost Max 2 is getting my foot back to walkable / comfortable condition, bought 1 pair then 2 others for inside the house and outside the house. Highly recommended!!

Extremely comfortable as soon as I put them on, I'm on my feet anywhere from 13-14 hours straight in the nursing field and I love these shoes, my feet don't hurt and I feel like I'm on a cloud, so I highly recommend these.

Ghost max 2 ruined
Once again , you guys ruined a great shoe ( for the 4E crowd- same for the New Beast - used those for cross training )the original Ghast max was the best fitting running shoe , besides NB, I have had . The 2 is narrower overall , especially in the toe box. Back to only New Balance for me . It’s unfortunate and you changed things drastically just to come out with a new model
