Shoes run BIG!

SHOES RUN BIG*** Love the look and design. Not enough cushion in the sole. I’m 6’1” 240#. I felt every step during my run. Unfortunately returned my Brooks for another set of HOKA.

I truly wish you offered more choices in narrow width. Especially in color of blue.

Had to return

I only tried one shoe on and knew I'd have to return them. They ran small and the toe was hard and tight. I've just ordered 17s. I hope they don't have that hard toe.

After almost 100 miles, I found Ghost 16 is adequate for short runs/jogs under 10 miles; I experienced ache at heels and ankles. It could use more cushion and stability. But walking with Ghost 16 is very conformable for daily used, but not advised for long hours walk--or being on your feet. When I go for a jog, I have to add another thin insert for extra support, still I won't go for more that 12-14 miles. I switched to Adrenaline GTS for longer distances for walking/jogging.

The fit had changed. Narrower in the toe box and applies stiffness on the inside ball of my feet causing pain. Tried and tried giving it a rest, trying again. It’s these. Brooks took them back. The glycerin seems to be my new shoe after years with the ghost. Bummed.

Very fast at a great price

Awesome trainer, very fast and responsive, I put a good time in on my usual 10km route on the first outing, unfortunately the fit was just not right for me, and had to return after the fourth run when they started to rub. I would definitely look at getting another pair in a different width if available.

Comfortable from day one.

This is my 4th pair of the Brooks Ghost models. I love them. They are as comfortable as an old friend the first time you slip them on.

Brooks Ghost for 75 Year Olds

I am 75 years old, walk (no longer running) 5-10 miles a day, plus these same shoes are my everyday shoes. I wear the wide ones and put in Superfeet liners. I get new ones twice a year and the worn ones become my yard/gardening shoes. Comfort counts. I appreciate that Brooks does not make radical design changes, I can count on the new Ghost version working great. A couple of years ago there was one edition that had some funky shoelaces that wouldn’t stay tied but that is the only (minor) issue I can remember. Great shoe for me.
