Felt harder than the previous model ghosts. They were uncomfortable to wear. The sizing is off, I’ve always been a size 8 and these were about a half size bigger.

Great Shoe, not the best grip
Used to run brooks ghosts until they changed the design and I was getting blisters now the brand I went with changed their equivalent to be a giant boat of a shoe (see Ghost Max) with no regular option. Did my research and went with this. I have EE feet and supinate (run more so on the outside of my feet). Run 4-5 times a week on trail and road usually 5-10km. Very comfortable. Size seems true to foot measures and the design looks good (extra wide colors are always lame for any brand got black or gray this time). Laces are good and stay tied without any double loops. The only issues I have is they don’t grip well even when new. I’ll slide on wet painted stripes on the road, or dry rocks/boulders on the trails. It’s manageable but was a little surprising the first time. Aside from this my feet can slide inside a bit, pushing into the front of the shoe with the factory insert when running downhill. Might be a shoe sock issue. Tightening them up a little helped, but too tight leads to other problems. Overall will be my regular shoe until they change it for changes sake again.

fits my narrow foot well. I have a high arch as well and it's pretty good for that for me.

I purchased this shoe for my husband, and he loves it. Likes the style; the shoe is comfortable and can be worn to the office or used for four-plus mile walks. I purchased him two more pairs in different colors.

Plantar Fasciitis
These are perfect for those looking for new running or walking shoes. I tried several other brands and came back to this one. Other brands offer too much support that can IMO negatively affect your feet. The support the ghost offers is just enough. AND I suffer from plantar fasciitis! IFYKYK And have you seen the variety of design?! Not too much not too little, just right. Get them!

I really wanted to love these, I love all of your shoes and have been wearing them for years. This design was to narrow and I ordered the wide size. Please go back to the wide toe box style they are comfortable and look good on.

Very comfortable and sturdy
This is the first pair of Brooks shoes I have purchased and I only had them for one month. They are very comfortable and my feet are very stable on daily walks. I like the firm support. I'm not sure how long they will last since I walk 5 or more miles, 6 days a week but we'll see.

Wearing out too fast
After only have any shoes for six months, they’re already worn out and falling apart. I mainly use them for walking and the gym. Too expensive to wearing out so fast.

Current styles not very good looking
Why are Brooks runners so much uglier than they were a couple of years ago. I have bought many Ghost and Glycerin runners over the years but this latest lot have this smooth single colour anaemic look to them. Also why doesn’t every colour come in 2E width. There seem less width shoes now. Please go back to your previous style and I’ll come back as a customer for the next 20 years.
