Solid
my first trail shoes, seems good so far - really gripping on the trails.

Consistently reliable
Have had Cascadias before and they are consistently reliable. I like that the sole is hard-wearing compared some other brands.

Perfect straight out of the box!
Love them. Been running with Ghost 14 2e for a couple years now and was looking for go to repeatable trail shoe, but everything seemed to slip on the heel. Came to Brooks, looked for the most similar trail shoe to the Ghost, ordered it, wont be looking again I suspect.

Great shoe and support. A little narrower than the Adrenaline.

Stiff shoe, lots of heel padding, kinda too snug
First visual impression, I like the color and the abundant, knobby traction. First feel impression, really liked the feel of the laces as odd as it sounds these are very nice stock laces. Putting them on, they are rigid and kinda tight along knuckles of the foot and they are stiff - feels like walking in roller blades. Going with that analogy these will bust up your ankles like roller blades e because there is zero ankle support. Kinda suorised for it being a cross country/trail shoe. After a few miles you'll feel the protective toe cover and will NOTICE the heel is designed to strike first, so tons of heel padding which could be nice but it's not for me because it puts extra pressure on my constricted toes. Again they run a quarter size too snug and are ridgid. This is my review after just under 2 miles. My feet feel exhausted and my ankles like I've been working with ankle weights on. Debating starting the return process.

Occasional trail runner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfortable so far, good protection from ground. Haven't taken them off road yet.

My first ultra show
I bought these shoes for the rock plate as I have a delicate big toe, I found them to be a great trail shoe - the rock plate kept my feet comfortable though perhaps reduced the soles ability to mild to obstacles. I ran my first ultramarathon in this shoes and managed about 600km. Eventually the uppers blew out on both shoes at the same time so they have been retired for a new pair of Brooks trail shows

Poor Quality
I usually have great results with Brooks Cascadia. However, this pair purchased less than a month ago, is already breaking down. The mid-sole cushion connecting to the toe-kick is starting to separate. I am pretty disappointed.

Three weeks in Africa.
These are my first Bruins shoes. I bought the 16 for a trip to the DRC. I haven’t run a step in them but I’ve worn them everyday for three weeks over all kinds of terrain. I very happy with my purchase.

Good to go, but...
So let's start with the positive. I user this to climb Camelback Mt Cholla in AZ. I made it to the top and made it back down. Great shoe, the only issue I have the fabric pulled away from the inside of the shoe. Almost like it ripped. I usually get a lot compliments on my Brooks, not one. I love Brooks. I'm not sure how long these will last.
