Too narrow.
Very narrow despite saying medium width. Tore up the sides of my feet and pinky toe. Decent shoe other than that, but all 3 pairs I bought are going to goodwill. Bummer.

Great trail runners
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They're comfortable, durable and have good grip for rough terrain. Everything you need in a trail runner.

Love ‘em
I’m new to trails, and had been wearing my Ghost 24’s. These are a game changer. I read other reviews and was thinking they must be extremely picky! Who really cares about color discrepancies? And if the shoe is too big, return and size down! These are for trails, they provide great traction. I rolled an ankle in 2018 and it can reaggravate. I am very confident in these. Just ordered two road shoes one for speed and one for spring! Love Brooks!

Wide forefoot and generally uncomfortable trail shoe
I bought these shoes because of my great experience wearing Ghosts for may years. Needed a pair of trail shoes and sticking with Brooks seemed to me to be a good start. The Cascadia were a great disappointment. The shoes were not comfortable. The forefoot is very wide. The "ride" is very hard and the shoe seems to have very little cushioning. The heel cup is kind of loose. Adding an insert helped with the fit but not to the point where I look forward to wearing them. One positive attribute is that the shoe has good traction. I've worn may other brands of trail shoes and these are close to the worse. I do not recommend them.

Cascadia 17 Coloe: 032 - Primer/Ebony/Oriole
This is about the Cascadia 17, not 16. Color on website doesn't match the actual product. The Gray color at the toe, is deeper and richer, in both the toe guard and the mesh area. I really prefer this. The actual product is much lighter in the same areas, which I'll get used to, but it's unfortunate.

Sturdy, grippy, great fit. They keep me on the trail in all conditions. Roomy and no heel slip.

So far so good.
I’m not a runner but I appreciate the shoes for walking and everyday wear. I’ve been a devout “Adrenaline GTS” guy but the last 2 versions have had a different fit that doesn’t feel right and the soles are too squishy. Admittedly, I bought these Cascadias for the Bigfoot theme but discovered they offer a great fit and firmer sole. I like them so much I bought a second pair in a different color.

Great trail runners!
I had no idea what I was missing in a trail running shoe until I used these. They are amazing!

Best Arch Support
Bought last month, great shoe fits perfectly. US 12. I have narrow feet and the arch support is unrivalled. For trail running and carting heaving equipment, the arch support is most important. Other wise your roll your ankle. The only downside is they do not pack easily as there is a lot of shoe and they are well made.
