Why We Like The Brooks Canopy Jacket
The Brooks Canopy Jacket gives us lightweight weather protection with plenty of packability. The fabric is designed to seal out light moisture and wind, and it's highly breathable to release steamy moisture vapor and keep us drier on the run. The adjustable hood can also be stowed inside the collar while the whole jacket packs down into a built-in backpack, so we can stow-and-go and whip it out when the weather turns wet or windy.

Love love this item. Great for windy, rainy days. 2 snap buttons allow for great movement, and breeze.

Great Jacket
this is a great multipurpose jacket, it has been my new go to for the windy, rainy, and sometimes snowy New England spring. I always size up a jacket so I can layer it if I need to. I wore this jacket in very rainy conditions and nothing soaked through. Might even be my new summer hiking jacket

THE jacket for running in rain and wind
This is THE jacket for running in the rain. I had tried a rain jacket from Nike before this and it was so unbreathable it felt like wearing a trash bag. I really wanted a rain jacket that I wouldn’t sweat to death in. The canopy jacket is somehow breathable and yet keeps me dry in some pretty serious rain. It’s super soft and comfy to wear too. It has a lot of nice features like a little button to hold the hood down when you’re not wearing it and it’s really cool how it packs into a little back pack. It is very lightweight so when it’s cold out I wear a long sleeve under it and it keeps me very warm. Sizing wise, I’m 5’6” 135 lbs and I got a size M (I’m usually a small but I wanted to be able to layer under it) and it’s perfect. It doesn’t look baggy but I can comfortably fit a long sleeve under. I’m super glad I bought it and have never seen another rain/wind jacket for running like it.

Great jacket but size up
I listened to reviews and sized up. I’m normally a small and got a medium. I’m 5’2” 115lb and the medium fit perfect. I ran with the jacket on as well as it all folded up into a backpack. It was comfortable both ways. The jacket really blocked the wind which was super nice. Definitely recommend as long as you size up one.

Comfy!
This was recommended by a friend. I was able to try hers on and liked it. I wish it had more colors. I ended up getting the same color as my friend as it was the only color I liked. It’s comfy and matched my new tights!

Love this jacket!
Just what I was be looking for. I have an older model that I love but just wanted another color. 😀 Light weight and breathable, but water resistant to an extent.

Disappointed
My first day wearing it. I went to unsnap the jacket and the clasp broke. The plastic used for it felt cheap and not sturdy. I was very disappointed after bring super excited to receive it. I would not recommend.

Great for AK rain
I love this jacket! I live in AK and the summers here are very rainy. This jacket has withstood many training runs and one half marathon so far. I love that you can unzip when you get too warm and there are snaps to keep jacket in place. Pockets are great for gels and keys/ID. The hood is very nice and stays on pretty well. I wish it was a little easier to stow to the rolled up position while running, otherwise it just flaps behind you in the wind since it so lightweight, but that my problem as I’m not sure how they could make that easier. One thing I’m not in love with on this jacket is the wrist part of the sleeves. It constantly rubs on my watch which ends up sometimes pausing my run for me, also there no elastic in the wrist to help hold the sleeve up when you start to get warm. For reference I’m 5’6 about 155lbs and the Large fits well—a little roomy for added layers on colder runs.

Perfect for light raining and spring / summer weather
Love the fit and the material. I only wish it was water proof versus resistant. Perfect for summer showers as I did not get hot on it.
