Epic dances up big walls.
Boreal's Ballet Gold Climbing Shoe dances up cracks and edges on multi-pitches as long as El Cap's Nose. In a classic high top with a full-length insole and midsole, the Ballet Gold provides plenty of support for foot-jamming as high as the sky. Boreal built the Ballet Gold on a board last similar to a trekking shoe, and that combined with Boreal's sticky FS-Quattro rubber sole gives excellent edging on more technical, crimpy pitches. This shoe also features a split leather upper with anti-stretch stitching, and there's a full canvas lining for breathability and durability.
- Split leather upper with anti-stretch stitching
- Full canvas lining, double lined arch
- Full-length insole and midsole
- FS-Quattro rubber sole

Great shoe
This was my first climbing shoe and it was a great choice. Super comfortable and pretty durable for someone who is going to beat them up pretty quickly. Love the ankle coverage and the lace up design. Sizing was perfect and just snug enough for a nice climbing shoe

Excellent trad shoe! Great foot support, edges extremely well. Fit is true to size. Canvas lining makes for a no-stretch fit. The rubber seems a bit hard for smearing, but it did everything I needed it to do without a problem.
Board Last, Slabtastic!

Ever wondered what its like to have the stability of a gyro on your feet when climbing slab? Look no further.
I was blown away at the stability these shoes have on small holds on less than vertical climbs. I was able to pad my way up some pretty stout slabs in Little Cottonwood when I demo'd these.
What I will say is that they fit a bit different than other "Slip lasted" Shoes - Which is what most shoes are designed on. These are stiff, while being comfortable - you gain the stability of a "half size down" without the pain of downsizing.
For all day multipitching around - these shoes are great!
