The Anomaly 88 Skis handle a surprise storm without blinking

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:

"I only packed the Anomaly 88 Skis for a week long trip, and it snowed eight inches the second night, so I got to test both sides of these right away. The double Titanal laminate held a razor sharp edge on the icy morning groomers, but the same skis floated through the fresh snow that afternoon without any complaint. Having one pair that covers that much range made packing for the trip a lot easier."

The forecast promised sun, but eight inches fell overnight instead, and the Anomaly 88 Skis from Blizzard don't care which version of the mountain shows up. Carve a hard, precise line down a groomer at first light, then point them into fresh snow an hour later and feel the same ski open up and float. This is the pair you bring when you only get to bring one, and you need it to handle whatever the weather decides to do.

That split personality comes from a laminate built specifically for range. A two piece upper Titanal layer with fiberglass between the sheets adds grip and stability on hard snow, while a full width lower Titanal laminate placed under the core keeps things damp through chatter and variable terrain. Full length ABS sidewalls transfer energy directly under the bindings for precision through the turn, and a Trueblend beech and poplar core rounds out a ski built to adapt the moment conditions change.
