Stay hydrated
It's funny that something so small and inexpensive can responsibly take care of the most important thing you bring on your ride: water. The Blackburn Comp Water Bottle Cage is small, lightweight, and inexpensive, but it does everything you could want it to do -- short of pedaling the bike.

great price and does the job
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
does exactly what it is intended to do. Easy to bend to fit bottles tight if that's your thing. definitely would recommend to anyone for the price
Basic Cage, Great Price, No Issues
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
It does exactly what it's supposed to.
My one gripe is that the mount holds the back of the cage off the tube by about a 1/4 of an inch (unlike my King cage). This might not sound like a big deal, but on a hardtail with seriously low standover and a tight space to mount a cage, it causes larger bottles to barely squeak by.
Not a huge issue, more of a frame-by-frame consideration. Still a great product (so far).
Great Price, classic cage.
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Ive had multiples of these on numerous bikes, and never had an issue.
The classic
Jim Blackburn started out in 1977 in Santa Cruz CA making aluminum bike racks and soon thereafter his classic aluminum bottle cages. They still have not been surpassed (though often copied).
These are timeless.
Classic design, strong yet light, unbreakable, affordable.
Dependable
I've bought Blackburn cages several times over the years and they're always solid and dependable.
