Cinch Carbon Fiber Cage
If you're riding a sleek, carbon racing machine, it deserves a lot better than the dusty plastic bottle cage you've had sitting around in the garage for years. Blackburn's Cinch Carbon Fiber Cage has a classic, minimalist design shaped from unidirectional carbon fiber that's befitting of the smooth lines of your carbon frame, and it's been repeatedly tested to ensure consistent bottle retention.

Too small for some bottles.
- I returned this product before using it
Great look, amazing weight and supposedly great quality. However, they are too small for my bottles, you have to put quite a lot of pressure to put the bottle in and take it out even without having the cage installed on the bike. I don't want to lose focus on the road because I am fighting with the cage. So the bottle matters quite a lot when picking this cage. Didn't work for me at all but it may work for others. bottles tested: Abloc 710ml, Zéfal 20oz basic bottle and Specialized Little Big Mouth 21oz

- I've put it through the wringer
I have been using these for over a year now, they are very light, they retain my bottles quite well, even on the short off-road segments of my rides. I wouldn't pick them for a gravel bike, but they are a great lightweight option for the road, Plus they come in colors, so that is neat.

- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Lost my bottle within the first 10 minutes of the first time using it and it snapped 10 minutes later. Very delicate. Too bad, it looked sharp!

The shape of the bottle matters, so may I ask why kind of bottle you were using? I have been in 3 major crashes with the Cinch cages and Purist bottles, and the bottles never ejected. The only caveat is they don't play nice with bottles which don't have narrow necks. The odd looking Tacx bottles, Podiums, etc.

Secure, sleek, and light
- I've used it several times
Looking for a sharp looking, bottle grabbing piece of art? You've found it here. I got matte black to add to my ride. Have yet to lose a bottle on rough, bumpy trails.
