Good addition to a great pole
I work my z-poles pretty hard; Malta trails, Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage, West Highland Way and Kerry Camino (part of Dingle Way) in the past year. My tips needed replacing after all that work. This time around I realized that the rubber tip protectors would be a real benefit for the easy parts of trails to reduce wear on the rubber tips and provide a softer impact with little noise. The protectors slip off easily when the trail requires the more aggressive bite of the rubber tips.

Z-Pole Rubber Tip Protectors for walking sticks
I need to use 1-2 walking sticks now for an unstable knee - I had used my Black Diamond poles with metal tips for hiking for years, but now I need them daily for general walking & getting around and the Rubber Tip Protectors fit perfectly and I feel safer now as they protect on slippery surfaces. Highly recommend them.

Z-Pole Rubber Tip Protectors for walking sticks
I own two (2) Black Diamond hiking/walking sticks with metal tips - fine for hiking but now I need the walking sticks to help me balance due to an unstable knee (surgery coming up). I ordered the rubber tips and they are PERFECT & grip the road just fine. I ordered two pairs. Customer Service was extremely helpful. Thank you Black Diamond, Wendie S-M

Sensible packaging??
I ordered a pair of rubber tips and two tiny Allen wrenches. They arriving a box with packing paper. An envelope would have sufficed. Goods as promised and on time

The Best!
I ordered these for my 92 year old friend who uses my Z-Poles for stability in walking. He's thrilled to be able to walk without worrying about the tips slipping on hard surfaces inside and out! I know he'll wear them out and will be happy to re-order once that happens!

Too loose
These are too loose for my distance carbon FLZ poles; they are the correct tips. I think the reason for the varied responses is this: there is a shorter distance between the basket and the pole tip. In these REI video, that distance is longer and the pole tip is tapered, allowing the rubber tip to fit snugly on the pole tip. On my poles that fit is hindered by the basket. I am trying some silicone to keep the tip on but be able to replace when needed

Too loose for Z pole
I love my Z Trekking pole but these pair of protectors are way too **loose** for fitting my poles and therefore useless.

See..
This is second time purchased this product, to protect tips and danger during travel. Tips tend to come off and get lost. Good idea, not so good reality.

Probably the only tip that will fit the Z-Poles
I'm glad these are cheap because they continually fall of my poles. And yes, I have the correct tips on my pole.
