I haven’t tested it in rain yet but the fit is great and the length in the back seems like it would protect you well from rain without restricting movement. The hood is excellent if you want to wear a helmet or have big curly hair like I do. I love the color and wish the stormline jacket came in this color, because sometimes I want to be able to unzip versus having to pull it over my head.

It's dry and it has a big pocket
So far I like every BD product I have purchased. This anorak has a nice shape. I ordered XL. I like that the sleeves are on the long side because they don't fly up when I am active. The fabric is thin, flexible, and waterproof, allowing me to chose my layers underneath. Today it was 20 degrees and I layered a wool base layer and then an ultralight fleece layer. Also I had a vest but took it off when I got warm from skiing. There are no pit zips. The giant zipper helps release heat but not as much as pit zips. The hood is large but you can cinch it and fold it back. It kept flying snow out of my eyes so I like the hood. The best feature is the big kangaroo pocket which not only has enough room for big mittens, but also has a perfect secondary pocket within to keep your phone near your belly, not flopping around or falling out. It fits my iPhone pro max. Love that pocket. I include photos to show this green color, which is an unusual color but I don't hate it.

The rain coat I was looking for
Needed a new rain coat and wanted something breathable and light but with hardcore waterproofing, and this coat is exactly that. The lightest raincoat I’ve ever worn, super breathable, and very rain tested/waterproof so far. Love the sealed seams/zippers too. Love this coat.

Impressive water shedding ability for being so lightweight
I ordered this jacket and had to put it to the test immediately. I work as a paddle guide in Alaska and took it straight from the mailbox on 4 hour long tour in the pouring rain. It stood the test very well! Stretchy and comfortable, breathes well and feels too lightweight to be true. Stayed dry to the touch and the jacket itself was dry after coming inside for just a few minutes. Didn’t seem to absorb water at all. Love it so far!

Flattering and Functionality
This jacket kept me warm and dry for a 3 day trip in unexpected rain ,sleet and wind gusts whilst on my spring camping/hiking trip. I received endless compliments and was completely dry and warm all weekend. Love this jacket!! It's light packable and perfect for layers. The fit and style are perfect and it didn't tear when I hopped off trail to head for the bushes tangled in thorn brush. ( i was catious when nature called but surprised when it didn't snag or rip.!) The hood is geniusly designed and the sleeves with the velcro adjustable wrist straps. I'm ordering another color just to have another one!! Thank you. I'm very happy with this product! Happy trails♡

Great jacket
Great fit, length and slight waist curve. Lightweight for how waterproof it is. Really pretty color as well.
