    GREAT SPORT HARNESS

    Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

The best harness I have ever used!!! Extremely comfortable to hang in and never "cuts" in to you. Stays out of the way always. Would recommend to a pro or beginner!

    Second Harness

    Familiarity:
    I've used it several times

I have been climbing for a couple of years now, and this is the second harness I got. It has been such an awesome upgrade from my old harness. It is lightweight and small which is nice when I need to hike a bit farther to get up to some cliffs. It is easy to put away, and stash in my backpack, which has come in handy when I am canyoneering Zion, and have to do some quick repels throughout the canyon.

    Black Diamond Solution Harness

    Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

This is my second Solution harness! I absolutely love how light and comfortable is and you only have to deal with one buckle (waist). The leg loops are not adjustable so it helps to try the harness before you buy. I heard some people are having problem with the sizing.

    I love this Harness

    Familiarity:
    I've used it several times

This harness is light and comfy. I had a lot of hang time last weeks and never felt uncomfortable. I also took several falls of about 10 ft on it and it was super smooth. 10/10 would recomend

    Good for the price

It's pretty confortable harness, loops are rather small, expect to run out of space for longer routes

    >Rating: 4

    Would definitely recommend purchasing!

    Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I've only used this harness once at the gym so far since purchasing. Initial impressions are hanging from this harness is extremely comfortable. The harness is high quality and great value for the price point. The only thing I wish it had adjustable leg straps to better fit the pants I climb in. Definitely a minor issue though.

    Awesome Sport Harness

    Familiarity:
    I've used it several times

Had this bad boy for a while now and absolutely love it. Very lightweight and sits well around your legs/waist. Plenty of space on the gear loops for my twelve draws , two anchors, PAS, and my ATC. Haven't taken a whipper on it (thankfully) so I can't speak on what that feels like, but knowing BD that is something they would not have overlooked. Email meat jrepman@backcoutry.com or call me at 80 523-406 for any further questions.

Good but gear loops are small

    Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

Nice and comfortable but gear loops are too small, even for sport climbing. And for trad, i don't know how to put the rack in these tiny loops. I know this is a sport harness but why buy a harness for both sport and trad, I like the light feel of a sport harness on trad routes. Also, i'm not that rich to carry 2 harnesses for different climbs. So, a little wider gear loop is the only missing part of this good design.

This harness is great for sport climbing. Very light and fits well.

    Nice and Comfy

    Familiarity:
    I've used it several times

I just got this harness to replace my old Metolius Safetech. I like the swami suspension system in this harness as it distributes the load more evenly on my hips for a comfy catch. I do wish the gear loops were just 1 carabiners width wider, but it's not deal breaker.

    Gear loops

    Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

The gear loops are really tiny on this harness. 90 percent of the routes I'm climbing in my area are 50-ish ft. sport climbs, so it will work well for that, but any 100+ ft. sport, and especially trad., routes would be a huge stretch in this harness.

    Great Sport Harness

    Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I picked up this harness last spring when my momentum needed replacing and I love it! Streamlined and lightweight, doesn't feel bulky at all. Works out great in the gym and performs very well at the crag too. Carries all the gear I need when sport climbing. Wide leg loops and waist belt spread out the force and make this harness very comfortable to fall in. I wouldn't suggest if for long trad lines or big walls as it is not too padded and may be uncomfortable to hang in all day. But for shorter trad routes, sport or gym climbing it's phenomenal!

    Great harness

I use this harness for all my climbing in the gym and outside (sport&trad). Comfortable waist belt and leg loops if you find yourself hanging. Only minor things I’ve found are that the gear loops are kinda small. Other than that, awesome harness.

    Best Harness Ever Made

    Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I use this for both sport and Trad climbing (unless in off-width). This is the most comfortable harness, and at the price, it is a no brainer.

Great intro harness, fits well. Even though the legs don't adjust they still feel great and safe.

    Great Harness

    I've used it several times

This is the first harness I purchased as I am new to the sport and I must say I am not disappointed. I am about 6'2 190lbs and went with a size Large and the fit and comfort is great.

    Great Harness

I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Great harness for everyday use at the gym. It's comfortable, especially with the elastic leg loops. I wish it had a gear loop in the center rear for my chalk bag, but that is a minor complaint overall.

    Great, basic harness

    Familiarity:
I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

For $50-$60 this harness is great. It's not super fancy, but it gets the job done, and it's comfortable. I use this primarily for sport climbing in a gym, and I don't really need much else. Bought a few of these as gifts for friends and family and they love them too.

what size harness should i get

Hi Chasen! It depends on your height/weight and what you're using the product for! In general, a medium/large fits most adult males. If you're planning on lots of layers, you'll want to go with a bigger option. You want this to be tight at the waist but able to fit over your hips as well.
