    Momentum Climbing Shoe

It's hard for children to focus in climbing school when their feet feel as scrunched as a ballerina's. Black Diamond’s Momentum Climbing Shoe balances comfort with performance so they can learn how to climb comfortably. Most climbing shoes opt for leather or synthetic leather uppers to keep durable throughout their rocky adventures. Black Diamond, on the other hand, made this shoe’s upper out of a unique knit that enhances breathability without hindering overall durability. This enhanced breathability also decreases the foul smells that standard leather climbing shoes excrete in your car, closet, or wherever you store their climbing shoes. Since this isn’t a leather or synthetic leather climbing shoe, the Momentum shouldn't stretch as much as usual climbing shoes, and if this is their first pair of climbing shoes, you might want to consider getting this pair in the same size as their street shoe size. The NeoFriction rubber sole is also unique in that it’s molded—as opposed to the usual cutting from one sheet of rubber—to the shoe in order to increase longevity and ensure traction on greasy, plastic footholds.
    • Comfortable climbing shoe for beginners
    • Unique knit upper enhances breathability and decreases stretch
    • NeoFriection rubber molded onto upper for long-lasting traction
    • Flat last and low asymmetry assures all-day comfort

    Great starter

My kids loves to wear socks with these since the stitching irratates her. She is 6. We also order a 2 in size and she was a 1 thinking time to grow in. But they are snug with socks they fit right but allow play if you ad socks. We us them twice a week for the last 2 months.

Super cute Saltwater Color Shoes size up

    I've used it several times

I bought these climbing shoes for my youngest daughter 7yr old and decided to go up a full size up from her normal shoe size. That would allow her a bit more room to grow into over the next few months.

    Rad Shoe

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

We got these for our oldest daughter and did size up from her normal shoe size. She says that considering they are climbing shoes, they are pretty comfortable. Love the look and style!

Awesome kid shoe, way too small

I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I am going to exchange them for a size up. I understand how tight climbing shoes should be. I am an experienced climber. Couldn't even force their foot in it. My kids have really come along in climbing. My ten year old is climbing 5.10. Upgraded to these but I couldn't fit any of my 3 kids in their usual size. I will be exchanging them for at least one size up

Agree - got a full size up and they were still really tight/small. Granted, my kid has super wide feet, but the 5.10s were more comfortable. Not sure if going up a size will help or if the 5.10s are just better for wider feet overall?
