Why We Like The Black Diamond HotForge Hybrid Quickdraw Quickpack
Black Diamond's collection of quickdraws consists of draws with solid-gated or wire-gated carabiners, but the HotForge Hybrid Quickdraw is the only draw designed with solid and wire gates, and this Quickpack includes a set of six. The rope-clipping side is styled bright and colorful to act as a visual indicator that comes in handy when we're cruxing out and desperately searching for a solid clipping stance. The stiff, burly dogbone is easy to grab so you can take and suss out moves, and a StraitJacket stabilizes the rope-clipping carabiner for even easier clipping.

The perfect sport draw
Over the years I've owned several different types of sport draws—these are my favorite. The gates have a pleasingly certain action, the colors are bright enough to spot easily on the wall, and the dog bones are perfectly taut.

Solid
These are my go to sport climbing draws. I love the barrel gate on top and the wire gate for the rope. I find myself reaching for these first on my harness every sport lead.

Best Draws!
Great draws. Look pretty sweet hanging from the harness, and the wall. Something about the fine fit and finish gives confidence in the construction, and their purpose. I bought three sets.

Great set of draws
These are a great first set of draws if you are just starting out. BD has nailed it with the price point and quality. 12 are light enough to not weigh you down and durable enough to take a beating. I have small hands, always buy size small gloves from BD, and these are very easy and pleasant to clip as they fit in the hand very well when I’m pumped. Can’t really go wrong with the price point. Only downer is you can’t buy the blue carabiner to replace if you need/want to.
