Some gloves are warm. The Black Diamond Guide Gloves are the answer to the question of how warm a ski glove can actually get before it stops being a glove. The removable liner combines Primaloft One insulation with a boiled wool blend backhand and a 200g fleece palm lining, creating a warmth system that holds through the kind of sustained cold that sends other gloves back to the bag. A GORE-TEX insert with Plus Warm Technology wraps the whole package in total waterproof and breathable protection, and it stays attached to the removable liner so moisture management is never compromised.

The shell is four-way stretch woven nylon with a goat leather palm and reinforced palm patch, built to handle the abrasion of poles, rope, and terrain without wearing through after a season.
