Great design and fabric
Can't go wrong with these Alpine Pants. They are just the right weight for the alpine, warm enough for alpine starts and breathable enough for hot afternoons. Great stretch and built for movement over technical terrain.

Pants don’t fit and can’t exchange
I bought these on a Black Friday sale and they didn’t fit. The only option I have is to now buy a larger size at full retail price as there is no exchange option.

Classic bangers
About as pragmatic as it comes. Love the leg zipper for stashing quick access items. The fit is athletic without being tight. The light water repellency helps keep the smell of whisky off on pants during the long weeks at the creek.

Great features
This is a well thought out pant. The integrated belt is one of the better ones on the market, and the ankle cinches are handy. Nicely stretchy, good weight material- light enough to not overheat but heavy enough to feel pretty durable

Great athletic fit, long length, durable fabric, versatile weight/insulation.
Not as warm, durable, or versatile as BD Vertical or Dawn Patrol pants of yesteryear, but a darn good alternative. Fit is much better. I am 5'9 inch waist 33 waist and this pants adjustable waist loop goes from starving-alpine-decent to all-you-can-eat sushi with room to spare. The hem is longer than most other pants I own, so tall guys will appreciate that. For me, it helps keeps the snow/pebbles out. So far, the fabric has been pretty durable. I got another two pair in case BD decided to change sizing or discontinue these pants. The weight/warmth is not great for hot summer or windy-cold summit, other than that it is pretty darn versatile. As a sign note, BD, please adjust your sizing for the Alpine Light pant to resemble these pants. Your Alpine Winter pants are also great for conditions where this pant isn't warm enough.

Alpine pants still really good
Got a pair with thicker premium Schoeller Swiss fabric a few years ago - which were also stitched a bit differently (e.g. stitched in back pocket vs free hanging) and a metal latch on the built-in belt vs plastic type now. They were fantastic. The new ones are a bit lighter wt but appear to be made of a similar stretch material. They are also very comfortable. Look to be well stitched, good quality zippers. Would recommend. Good product
