This is my second pair of Birkenstocks. I was certainly not an early adopter, as I was years ago when Earth shoes first came out. But this pair is very similar in style and quality to what those shoes were like. Very comfortable and distinctive looking. I got them mostly to wear around the house, just like the sandals I have of theirs that I wear during the summer time.
