Marks and no original box

Im not sure I really wanted to keep these as they have dark marks from where straps were- so when I tightened them one notch there is visible darker spot, also various marks on the upper but i think that is "normal" for this leather. The bum thing is they were not in the original Bird box rather in a backcountry generic box. Not acceptable for 145. NEW sandals. I am deducting 1 star because of this, not on the BIRKS shoe.

I Love them! I have a very narrow foot I usually wear W36 and ordered a 36N. They fit perfect. These are the real deal.
