I've had this chair for over a year. With daily use it has held up very well. Both the frame and chair fabric are strong and durable. It packs up light and easily and I take it with me to various places often.

Ultralight Chair/weak aluminum tube
- Height:
- 5' 2"
- Weight:
- 167
The chair arrived today and I put it together as per instructions but after sitting in it I noticed that one of the aluminum tubes had split. I weight 167 lbs, well below the stated weight limit. Too bad - it was comfortable. I will be returning it.

Great shorter trip chair
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Height:
- 5' 11"
- Weight:
- 185
I really like this chair. It?s a bit of a trade off, but for the added comfort & sturdiness, the extra weight is worth it for 2 or 3 day trips. Very well made, easy to assemble. Not sure about the life span, have only had it a month or so. I also own the other popular backpacking chair, this one is a little heavier, but definitely more comfortable & feels more beefy / sturdy.
