Could get a better bag for the price
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
- Height:
- 5' 11"
- Weight:
- 150
First the good stuff - Bag is (1) adequately warm (I've taken it down to 20 degrees F), (2) fits well, and (3) is lightweight. If those are your only criteria, then it's perfectly fine. Now the not so good stuff - (1) I've used the bag for 2 years and it leaks feathers everywhere. I contacted Big Agnes and they say that it is normal for feathers to escape through the lightweight fabric, so you should see them from time to time. However, it loses a lot of feathers every single night. My tent and clothes are covered with them every morning. (2) The zipper always gets stuck on the fabric. It's just a pain. If I use it like a normal zipper, then it gets caught on the fabric 100% of the time. If I very carefully guide the zipper, then I am successful maybe 70% of the time. Overall, if I could go back in time then I would just get a different bag. It's quite expensive and you can get something better for the price. Maybe I got a bad bag that leaks an unusual amount of feathers, but Big Agnes didn't offer to replace it.
