Not a sleeping bag. Narrower than expect
- Familiarity:
- I returned this product before using it
This is not a sleeping bag as indicated. It is what others call a "sleep system" or "camp bed" for topping pads. The bottom is not insulated at all. So this is really a comforter zipped to a bottom sheet. Test fit (only - returning unused) on 50" wide sleeping pad as recommended as ideal by Big Agnes. Bottom sheet is only 45" wide, so the girth measurement is mostly in the comforter top. The bottom sheet is a few inches short of the edges with the skirt coming up and over the pad. Seems to be very nice quality and would work OK on a 50" pad although narrower (e.g 45") would be a better fit. Star rating is for performance as a sleeping bag as advertised would tentavely rate higher as a pad cover system pending field test.
