Basin + Range's most packable pad for backpacking
Ten and a half inches is all the Basin + Range Clutch Air Mat asks for in the pack or trunk, though it stretches out to a full 76 inches once the valve does its work. We built the bottom layer tougher than the top, since rocky, uneven ground wears out a pad faster than anything else it'll face on a backpacking trip.
What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:
"I've had mine set up and full before my hiking partner gets the tent stakes in. The reinforced bottom hasn't shown a scuff yet, even off gravel bars I probably shouldn't have picked."

Nature For All
Outdoor basics & camp essentials for everyday outdoor living. Basin + Range is for everything that happens once the boots come off. It’s the flannel that still smells like campfire smoke, mornings by the lake with hot coffee in hand, and evenings spent around the fire long after the sun goes down. With a nod to yesterday, and inspired by the places we go, Basin + Range makes nature easy for all.
Soft layers. Timeless styles. Everyday comfort for the moments that matter most. Not the summit, but everything that surrounds it.
