They must have run out of thread

I?m a relatively short man in stature, 5?10? to be precise. I?m also of average weight (ie no huge belly for the shirt to get over). Even for a shorty like me, this shirt is WAY TOO SHORT, do you hear me, WAY TOO SHORT. my belly button is going to be cold. So sad. Stick to a legit name brand and spend a few extra bucks to protect your belly. Backcountry, you have failed. Miserably failed.

Really Solid Baselayer
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Size Bought:
- Large
- Weight:
- 175
I bought one in the off season at a steep discount and I really like it. It was spring when I bought it so I haven?t worn it in any real cold yet, but it worked great on a brisk spring AM hike. It?s real comfortable and the quality is there. For sizing, I?m 6ft and 175lbs. I almost always wear a medium but for fitted baselayers I sometimes wear large. I actually ordered a Med and Large and ended up keeping the large. They both fit well but the large was a bit more comfortable. This isn?t what I?d called fitted (at least not compared to my trusty Icebreaker baselayers) but it definitely isn?t baggy either. I?d recommend it.

Spot on Warmth
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
I ordered two of these Backcountry Spruces Merino Baselayer Crews for a job site in the Pacific Northwest. We had a arctic wave come through dropping the temperatures as well as 12 inches of snow. These base layers kept me warm and still gave plenty of room to move while working. I was beyond amazed at how well these worked. I will be purchasing these for all my outdoor needs in cold weather environments. I highly recommend them.

Great base layer

Great base layer at a great price. My only complaint would be it fits loose. Not too big, just a loose fit. This could be a positive for some people. It is warm and very soft. I have taken it out twice so far and it kept me very comfortable in 40 degree Fahrenheit weather. I wear it under a light jersey when mountain or gravel riding. It is super soft and comfortable.
