Love this jacket!

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Size Bought:
Medium

This became my go-to, everyday ski jacket last season. It’s comfortable, stylish, and lightweight yet warm. I haven’t tested it in sub 25 degrees, so I don’t know how warm it would keep me considering layers… right now I do a light sweatshirt underneath and it’s perfect!

Great jacket!

Familiarity:

Small

I have used my new jacket once for resort skiing so far. I love the soft material and fun colors. Others complained about the wide neck on the jacket but I wore mine with a balaclava and had the hood up all day due to wind and it was fine. It fit comfortably over a helmet. I am 5'10" (125lbs) size small with very long arms and have really struggled to find a jacket that works for me. It seems true to size. I often size up to medium due to my height but the small looks great on me. Medium would have given me more room to layer but would have looked baggy I think. I wore a base layer and fleece underneath and stayed warm. The arms are long but I still wish they were just a touch longer (or at least the sleeve liner with a thumb hole). I can't comfortably wear my thumb in the thumb hole but this won't be a problem for most women! Love the jacket and I'm happy with it so far!

This coat surprised me!

I was convinced this coat wouldn't work for me because most coats don't! I'm 5'11.5" and typically a size 8-10, so usually a medium, but I struggle with finding coats/shirts/jackets that accommodate my upper body. With a larger bust, wide lats, and some decent shoulders, most coats are tight and restrict movement. This one... fits. It fits WELL. The stretch is a bonus, but just by the cut alone, I have freedom of movement and room for a baselayer or two. It looks fitted but not tight. I'm ... shocked. (The matching pants were too small in a medium, but we're trying a large.)

Love it. It's so cozy with its fleecy lining and warm. On 25 degree days I just wore my thin base layer underneath. Great length and powder skirt. People reviewed that the neck hole is too big. I like it because I can get my chin in there on cold runs down the hill. I don't find it too big at all. The pockets are great. The thumb holes at the cuffs are super nice.

My New Favorite Snowboard Jacket

I absolutely love this insulated jacket. Ive never had problems with it on the mountain. It is waterproof and warm. I ordered a sized medium so I could have a little extra room to put a mid layer under it if needed. I almost never need to though because this jacket keeps me pretty warm. The fit and comfort is great. The hood is big and fits over a helmet. A true 5 star jacket!

Neck too big and not adjustable :)

Size Bought:

I love the look, feel and weight of this jacket and was so excited to get it. It is my favorite colors, I got the green/blue color pattern. I haven't gotten a new ski jacket in 20 years!! I am so so very sad that I have to return it because the hood only adjust at the back of the head for a ski helmet and not at the neck area. The jacket is very big and baggy at the neck, which would be fine if adjustable. There is no way to adjust it at the neck and when zipped all the way up it hangs forward very far. I know if it is not a very warm ski day I would have so much air coming in I would be freezing, much less the very cold snowy days. I need a jacket that can cinch up tight around my whole head to keep the wind out. I have found another jacket that does this, as many do. Sadly this jacket is not good for skiing, snowboarding etc due to the non adjust at the neck area.

I own the Cottonwoods kit which I absolutely love but I was looking for an insulated kit for this year and absolutely hit the jackpot with this. The material is incredibly soft and perfectly insulating, I can't wait to wear it all season!
