great features, are a little long @ 6'

- small
I bought small because med. was sold out hoping I could fit with a 32" waist unfortunately could not so I gave to my son who is about 5'5" so they definitely were tooo long but fit his 30' waist with the velcro straps drawn all the way in fit good. the day we were skiing the guns were blowing water so everyone was getting soaked but my sons pants were the only one's that had beads of water showing how water repellent they were

these pants are exactly what i was looking for. i live in nyc and i grew up during gthe 90s when outdoor gear was in. i've always skied and snowboarded so having practical gear was always a priority for me. usually shell pants are very ski/snowboard designed; which they should be. however i was always looking for that shell pant that wears like a pant. by that i mean front and back pockets. wasn't looking for a bib just a bottom. the 2nd feature i was looking for was colors. everyone makes black and then a random neon super right color that doesn't wear well in the streets. again i understand why brands make these colors. just being particular that all. so when i say these Last Chair pants in red and yellow i immediately purchased them. the fit is a bit on the large size. i'm a sold 5'10" and i wear a small. YES i'm thin so for those who aren't it may fit too long if you're under 6ft and need a size M and up. the fabric feels great is waterproof and i can style them because of the colors are wearable. peep the photo... i'm in nyc so i'm looking for style as well as function.

I'm returning these pants. They fit my waist perfectly, but they're way too long. (For perspective, I have an average body size, although like most people I would like to lose an inch or so off my waist.) I would order a medium instead, but I'm sure the waist would be too small. Otherwise, looks like an awesome pair of ski pants.

I feel compelled to write this even though I have not tested the product in snow/rain. I read the reviews and ended up ordering a medium as some said they run small. They do NOT! I am 6' 1", 165 pounds with a 30" waist and the medium were gigantic on me other than length. I measured the inseam on the medium and it was 31.5". Because Backcountry has an excellent exchange policy, I had the smalls shipped to me and sent back the mediums. They fit perfect and have interestingly, have the same 31.5" inseam. I am past the ski season so will need to wait to see how they perform but they feel like high quality, solid pants. Front pockets are a little small but there is a cargo and rear pocket for extra storage. Lastly, the sedge color is a light yellowish tan and looks very cool in person.

Terrible Sizing & Fit

5' 8" 160 lbs - went with the small and the waist is terribly small while the legs are a foot too long. Promptly returned. At least offer a "short" version or stop selling these altogether. Also not a fan of the giant Backcountry logo.

I purchased these with hopes of them being long enough and they were comically short. Im not a capri guy so I returned them. I wear a 33x36 pant. In a large I was unable to button the waist also.

The pants are exactly what I wanted. A waterproof shell, plenty of pockets, and fit me perfectly. I've had no issues or problems with them at all, and like my other Backcountry products, they're a good value.

I'm 5'9", 180. I wear a 33" waist x 30" L Pants. I ordered a Medium. (yellow, green and white). The pants were about a foot too long. I had to pull them up to my chest to get the bottm of the pants to the correct location. I'm a 33 waist and the waist just fit with the velcrow all the way open. The guy in the picture is 6'2" and very skinny, and his pants are pulled way up, so use that as a reference. Otherwise they seem like good pants. I like the pockets, the vent and the patch on the bottom to prevent slices from your skis. I swithced it for Reduxion Softshell Pant ; which offers a Medium SHORT version. I hope they fit.
