I love this skort so much, I now have it in 3 different colors! it is great for active use-hiking, walking, camping-I haven't tried it for running, but i generally do not like running skirts. I find the fit just perfect-I got the small (I am 5'9" 138lbs). The material is breathable and wicking, and it is super cute for casual wear too!

Love the fit of this skort, the A line is super flattering. You can dress it up or wear it for exercise. Definitely recommend!

Took this on my recent trip to Spain and wore it so many times. I’m petite so length was perfect. Dries quickly after washing. Zipper pocket on left side and inner pocket on shorts leg. Ordering in more colors now!

Super short skort

I LOVE skorts in the summer for their comfort and versatility so was excited to spot this Backcountry one in a great shade of green. I was puzzled that the specs said only "mid-thigh" for length instead of a measurement like standard for most every brand I own. I took a gamble and was disappointed. Skort was true to size (I always take a size S and it fit) and the "lines" of it are nice. The inner pocket fits an oversized iPhone, which is great. But, it's crazy short, which makes it only usable maybe for tennis -- definitely not around town. The fabric feels too plastic-like and the color is more army-green than depicted online (not bad, just be aware.) But, I would have kept it if it was really mid-thigh in length. Compared to all my skorts from Athl*** which range from 14-16" in length and would be considered mid-thigh, this was was 12-13" depending on how it laid. The lining shorts underneath are at least as long, which means that they extend past the skirt line on the scalloped sides -- which looks silly. The angle of the photos here don't highlight it, but I can see that's the case on the similar Destination Dress. Thanks to Backcountry for the quick shipping, great customer service, and making it easy to return (even if I must pay for shipping.)

I will never get tired of athletic fitting skorts, they are so comfy and easy to wear. This one has a great fabric for running around doing a ton of activities but still looking cute 😊
