I live in the desert, love to be outdoors, and recently had a melanoma removed, so I need to cover up. I use my long-sleeved, white cotton gauze shirt to ride my trail bike, leaving it open, flapping in the breeze. It keeps the sun off and is plenty cool, even midday in summer. It's a plus that the flapping helps visibility on road sections. Just wish these shirts came in some pastel colors. I'd buy more!

I love the soft gauzy fabric and fit of this shirt. I plan to use it as a top layer for evenings on vacation and summer work in an over-air conditioned office. The egret color is a delicate off-white that will go with anything. Definitely a boxy fit, but it looks cute - modern and a bit oversized with a super soft feel.

Item never received

I ordered this shirt on June 28th and have still not received it on July 14th. I requested shipping status and they couldn't help. They just told me it will arrive when it arrives. I would not recommend purchasing from this site again.

Quite thick

It's not the airy summer shirt I was thinking of, the material is rather thick for being cotton gauze, but it's a nice shirt regardless, though more suitable for cooler weather.

Great, casual button up top

I wanted a button up top that was dressy enough to wear to work but causal enough to wear out with friends. This definitely fits the bill, it's comfortable and lightweight but it is a smidge boxy which is what is holding me back from giving it a full 5 stars.

This shirt is exactly what one would hope for in a light weight, stylish, and practical shirt for warm or hot sunny days or even cooler days. It is perfect for casual wearing or for hiking, walking or over a bathing suit. It washes beautifully in warm or cold ( my preference ) water and very little shrinkage. I use a dryer on warm for about 15 min. ( it could be longer ) to let it unfold from the washing. I then hang it to let it dry. It comes out as beautiful as when I first bought it. I usually buy a large shirt depending on the brand, but I bought a M which is perfect. I like my shirts like this one a bit roomy because I often wear shirts under a button down shirt. I bought the Nantucket breeze color which is very light, more of a light aqua and lovely.

I bought the white Basin and Range version last summer and love it! It runs a bit big, but thats the over-sized style. I bought the XS but I am typically buy smalls in most tops. It does shrink quite a bit when washed- but I still love the fit! The fabric is really comfy and honestly warmer that I thought it would be. Just ordered the "fossil" color Backcounty version and its exactly the same! LOVE IT!
