Our Cardiac GORE-TEX PRO Jacket represents our most forward-thinking outerwear that's built from the ground up for big mountain freeride and backcountry skiing. We designed it with a 3L GORE-TEX PRO laminate to block out water as we hammer the skintrack or our favorite chairlift on storm days in places like Jackson Hole or British Columbia. Our favorite feature is the dual front zippers, with one traditional zip that seals out elements and another full-length zipper that exposes laser-cut perforations that deliver airflow while maintaining the shell's shape.

The color is not as lavender as it appears online; definitely more of a blue-er tone. The sleeves feel long, but I like it that way. It would be great if it has those tight things around the wrist so snow doesn’t get into the jacket if you fell or in powder, but that’s not a deal breaker. Fits perfect! The pockets are great and there’s a phone pocket inside of the left chest pocket, along with a glasses/goggles cleaner attached. You can’t find a GORTEX pro for this price, which was the big seller for me. I love that it has two zipper options as well!

My Favorite Ski Jacket of All Time

As a Gearhead of 6 years, you can probably imagine I've tried just about all of the ski jackets out there. This is by far my favorite that I've ever worn. The Gore-Tex Pro Stretch fabric is my favorite feature. Gore-Tex Pro is normally so stiff, but when we added stretch to it, it totally changed the game. It is so comfortable and easy to move around in! The double zippers are so convenient, especially when layering and needing an extra 1/2" or so of fabric. I love that that zipper is also ventilated to allow some airflow. Other favorites are the attached goat logo goggle wipe and the pass pocket. This jacket has pockets everywhere, by the way. I love love love it and could sing it's praises all day. It does run slightly large, so I'd say if you're in between sizes to size down on this one. I've worn it all season and loved it every day, but during the atmospheric river storms we've had, there is no jacket I'd rather wear!

Would not recommend for backcountry

I usually love Backcountry gear and actually have the matching bibs that I do love and work great in the backcountry. There are so many functional things wrong with this jacket for my particular body (might be different for others). The arms are way too long so it creates a lot of fabric that you don't want to play with especially if you're in the backcountry. The zippers are especially hard to maneuver and kept getting stuck - again you don't want to have to be playing with your zipper if you're in an accident situation and need to get to a beacon quickly. The neck is a little too stiff and when zipped all the way it is not comfortable if it runs across the face, some companies make this part fleece lined for that reason and this one isn't. It's not warm enough to wear at resort and if you size up to be able to fit anything underneath it is too large (especially in the arms) to comfortably ski/board with. I also ordered my usual size in jackets as well. The actual Gore-tex is okay, but at this price point, it might be better to go with a different brand. Unable to return the jacket, so now I have a jacket that I will likely never wear.

Super Bummed

I was very excited for this jacket in purple, it looks AMAZING online. In person, the purple is darker and more blue purple instead of lavender. It is just a shell and it has a plastic / rubbery feel... The zipper was very tight and didn't easily begin to zip. There is no protective mesh when you unzip the armpits; it totally shows through to whatever you are wearing underneath. I typically get a L so I can comfortably fit all my layers underneath, but I went along with the suggestion to size down because I am between sizes. The M was fitting with just a t-shirt underneath and would not work with all my layers. I will say, the cut looked very flattering and I wanted to love it. I was tempted to try a size L, but with everything else I mentioned, it wasn't worth the price. Also, I had to pay $7 to return it :(

They really thought of it all with this jacket. The amount and size of pockets are awesome, and it feels perfectly designed for ski touring. Would highly recommend it. Definitely size up for layering.

Love it but not purple

Received both jacket and bib, ordered the purple but it’s not purple, it’s more blue. Sucks cause I purchased a dakine backpack with purple linings to match the jacket and bib. However! I love both the jacket and bib! So many pockets and compartments. Went snowboarding and it was snowing and showering at the same time. Was not wet at all! Definitely will need to layer up more underneath to keep myself warm but the jacket and bib did the job! Love it!

Really great quality, I ordered the purple and color is just like it is online. Pockets are great, and there is a double zipper in the front-option to be fully sealed or the second zipper has a perforated panel so you can have airflow if needed! I am 5’ 3” 140, thick thighs, usually can wear a small as more fitted or a medium to be more relaxed, i ordered the medium to have room for layers underneath but am returning for a small because they are made with more of a baggy park fit, if you’re between sizes choose the smaller. Excited to ski in these!

I completely got influenced to buy this kit but it was so worth it! Full Gor-tex set for the price is incredible. Have worn it ~8 days in CO from 2-35 degrees and it has performed great. The only reason it is not a 5 star for me is the main zipped seems a little cheap-plasticy and I am slightly worried about the life span of zipper, just doesnt feel sturdy. I also wish there was an internal chest pocket but thats just personal preference and this jacket (plus bibs) have PLENTY pockets to go around. *sizing note* I never know if I am a medium or large. Medium fit GREAT! I can fit base layer, bibs, fleece, and puffy under with room to spare! If you're looking for form-fitting this isnt it but if you like slightly baggy this is super cute and the colors keep is feminine!
