Bent Chetler 85 Ski is an approachable, energetic ski for groomers and first park laps

What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying

"The Bent 85 is a great first step into the Bent family. The Densolite foam and woodcore mix keeps it light and easy to maneuver, and that 1.3° base bevel is forgiving enough that beginners won't catch edges on every run. It's got enough personality to stay fun as your skiing develops — and the Benchetler graphics don't hurt. Park curious skiers will find a lot to like here without getting in over their heads."

Intermediate to Advanced Skiers Building All-Mountain and Park Skills

The Bent Chetler 85 suits intermediate-to-advanced skiers developing their all-mountain and park technique. It works well for progressing riders who want a light, forgiving ski that handles groomed runs confidently and opens the door to park features without demanding expert-level commitment.

Groomed Trails and Park Terrain

The Bent Chetler 85 is built for groomers and introductory park skiing. The short turn radius and 85mm waist keep it quick and maneuverable on trails, while the rocker-camber-rocker profile smooths out turn entry and release on a variety of slope pitches.

Lightweight Foam and Wood Build with a Forgiving Edge Setup

The Bent Chetler 85 uses a composite Light Woodcore and Densolite Foam construction that keeps weight low and the ski easy to move underfoot. Resist Edges add durability for skiers starting to hit rails, and a 1.3° base edge bevel — more forgiving than the standard 1° found on the rest of the Bent lineup — reduces the chance of catching an edge for developing skiers. The Dura Cap Sidewall delivers power transmission without adding unnecessary stiffness. Chris Benchetler's full graphics package rounds out a ski built to be as fun to look at as it is to ride.
