- Q & A
The five stars are for the boots cause I swear by asolo boots... I do wish they would bring back the flame cause they were the best boots I've ever owned. Hopefully the equalon is a close second or just as good cause the fugitive is a pale imitation. But my real problem is the the shipping is supposed to be 2 business days the boots were ordered and paid for on friday night after business hours so I was expecting them Tuesday and looking forward to having dry feet on Wednesday at work but I just checked the tracking website and it says they wont be here till Wednesday by 8pm you advertise 2 day shipping but that's not the case if I had known i would have wet feet for another week I would have paid for over night shipping and had them either today or tomorrow this review is less about the boots and more about my experience ordering from your website (which I wont be doing again). Thanks but no thanks I'll go to a more reputable site next Time and get my boots when they are supposed to show up

I used these boots for a 40 mile backpacking trip (the Teton crest trail) early October 2016. The weather conditions varied from heavy rain, sun and a couple of inches of snow. The boots offer great ankle support and good cushioning (with a 35 lb backpack) on both rocky and muddy terrain. They're waterproof but i recommend applying a layer of sparayable silicone (especially for overnight trips). A few complaints though: not so great performance on wet rock ( stiffer sole for backpacking trips) and the sole packs a lot of mud (can be annoying in time). Other than that, these boots are perfect.
I wear 11 in my other Asolos, NB and Asics and they fot perfectly
No need to break them in (my personal experience).
