I wish I had seen the review on the male version of this boot and read the negative review before I bought them. I broke these boots in by walking around town and after taking them out on uneven ground one time the rivet pulled itself out of the leather. I contacted Asolo with my proof of purchase and they refused to honor their warranty. The people at back country were much more helpful by offering a discount on my next pair of boots. It still sucks to have to write off the money I spent on what I heard was a great pair of boots but if my review helps someone avoid them then at least that's helpful. I'd recommend Danners I had a pair for 3 years before I decided to give a new company try.
