Felt comfy but disintegrated!

I had my boots for three years. Ended up having multiple spine surgeries so only did mild walking. Went to put them on recently and, I am not kidding, the spongy part of the sole had literally disintegrated- vanished! The very bottom part of the sole the rubber part) is flopping around being held on to the upper part of the shoe by the few parts of the spongy part that is still there. A LOT of money for shoes that have a built in self destruction even when not used for hiking!

I've had these for a few years with ~100 miles on them. Didn't wear them as much as anticipated therefore they sat in the basement. The heel started to de-laminate from the foam. There is no way to fix this as the foam is disintegrating. They are burly stiff boots that should last a lifetime but have some qulairty issues.

I have had these boots for around 10-11 years and definitely put them through the wringer. These are my hiking and backpacking boots, they have served me in the Appalachians, the desert, and on the West Coast. They have never failed, the sole is still intact and firmly attached, and they still handle water very well. They are pretty tight in the toe box. I will consider replacing them with the wide version of the same boot.

I have been wearing Asolo boots for over 40 years, and this style and its predecessors for over 15 years. My foot has grown during that time from 11 to 12 and my fit has always been perfect. No blisters ever. I used to reserve them for hiking and backpacking but now wear them daily as a cure for my once severe plantar fasciitis. They are lightweight, extremely, stable, and provide excellent support to prevent twisted ankles. Exceptional durability, high traction Vibram soles, and Gore-tex lining complete the package.

I have had the same boot for 11yrs and I would dare to say in upwards to 300miles hiking, walking with the boyscouts... hot and cold weather... a boot that has not failed...I finally retired the boot this March ..the fabric finally had enough... but the soles were down to nothing left .. I used the boot from walking ,going to church to walking around Hog island in Michigan to warren dunes state park in the winter hike... to Bedford Indiana blue springs cavern .... The Best Boot out on market. And a size 12. Thank you

The soles are falling apart after 2 mont

I got my shoes as a gift and they start cracking after my1st week of daily walking. The soles are falling apart. Is there a Customer Service number? Not sure on what to do. It's my1st pair. I like them but seem cheapl made to fall apart in 2 months.

Rock solid shoe. I love the lacing system. It lets you get a really tight fit if you want, but when you need to take it off your just move the laces out of the hooks and pull your foot out. They have good grip and my feet have never been wet with them.
